Hi,

Can you please provide me with screenshots of the issue?  I have not had any other complaints regarding anything like this.  Please send details and screenshots of the issue to me at rbaca@evga.com so I can try to recreate and resolve.

Thanks,
Rob

Strange Future dates!!! 2014/01/23 08:01:45 (permalink)
Getting a very strange bug in the forum lol

Seems to be listing the post dates in the drop down box as 2 days in the future but seems fine once in the post and also in the main page

Ignore the time as my clock is UK and the forum is not ;)

scrolling the main page all times are correct but when I click posts then the date is future, even once I click to view the thread all times are correct

How do we fix our links to our blue ribbon links on our EVGA profile?
Can this be turned on off on the Forum? (See Image)
 See this for this fix: http://forums.evga.com/FindPost/2127705
Thanks

And if you can fix this as well under IE 10 and Mozilla Firefox, I has not worked for over a month now.
Under http://www.modsrigs.com MODS RIGS That is.

The server has experienced an error and our team has been notified!!

Having issues accessing the Mods/Rigs page when using Firefox. No problems when using IE11. Anyone else or did I mess something up by installing that NoScript yesterday?

Sorry for the wall - but i will copy/paste the error I have been getting anytime i try to edit pics out of MODSRIGS  site .

Server Error in '/' Application.

Access to the path 'W:\www\modsrigs\UploadImages\212108\30690\fbc195aed7e2.jpg' is denied.

Description: An unhandled exception occurred during the execution of the current web request. Please review the stack trace for more information about the error and where it originated in the code.

Exception Details: System.UnauthorizedAccessException: Access to the path 'W:\www\modsrigs\UploadImages\212108\30690\fbc195aed7e2.jpg' is denied.

ASP.NET is not authorized to access the requested resource. Consider granting access rights to the resource to the ASP.NET request identity. ASP.NET has a base process identity (typically {MACHINE}\ASPNET on IIS 5 or Network Service on IIS 6) that is used if the application is not impersonating. If the application is impersonating via <identity impersonate="true"/>, the identity will be the anonymous user (typically IUSR_MACHINENAME) or the authenticated request user.

To grant ASP.NET access to a file, right-click the file in Explorer, choose "Properties" and select the Security tab. Click "Add" to add the appropriate user or group. Highlight the ASP.NET account, and check the boxes for the desired access.

Source Error:

The source code that generated this unhandled exception can only be shown when compiled in debug mode. To enable this, please follow one of the below steps, then request the URL:

1. Add a "Debug=true" directive at the top of the file that generated the error. Example:

  <%@ Page Language="C#" Debug="true" %>

or:

2) Add the following section to the configuration file of your application:

<configuration>
   <system.web>
       <compilation debug="true"/>
   </system.web>
</configuration>

Note that this second technique will cause all files within a given application to be compiled in debug mode. The first technique will cause only that particular file to be compiled in debug mode.

Important: Running applications in debug mode does incur a memory/performance overhead. You should make sure that an application has debugging disabled before deploying into production scenario.
Stack Trace:

But you only have 1 post.      Remember, you need a certain amount of posts to be able to show links, and images.

I was wondering on my signature I have this folding banner. I wanted to put another one below it so I tried to shrink it. Now in the signature it is shrunk but on the forums it is not. Just wondering why and also is there a way to preview your signature first before you post it.

Re: New Forum Issues 2014/03/24 05:02:06 (permalink)
None of my saved EVGA forum bookmarks work. I saved the link to a 'Blue Ribbon' thread about lapping CPUs and it's gone. I deleted quite a few links to useful and informative threads because they can't be found. I click the link and I just get the forum's main page. The "ultimate starter-thread for new members" doesn't even work anymore. What makes this doubly annoying is that I've seen new members dragging up posts from 2010 about "How to use Memtest and why it's better than Memtest86". These links had useful and relevent information that would have and could have been helpful to newer members since the subject matter was relevant to common problems.

K so I still having problems shrinking a image in my signature. I have tried to do it a few times. It does it in the signature and shrinks there but when I go and look at it on the forum it is still as big as it was when I started. Not sure if this is just me or if it is a problem. Kind of like to shrink the folding banner so I can put something else under it.

The layout and grouping of categories and subjects into their sections has been fine for a long time. I, for one, have gotten used to where to find everything. Now I can spend hours and not find a thread I just viewed earlier. You're getting to be worse than YouTube with your constant changing. Maybe you should cut back on the coffee? I got two PMs 12 hours ago and I still haven't received an email alert. You can't blame that on Windows Live Mail this time.

Yea the new grouping since yesterday is a bit awkward to say the least. It feels less organized despite being more organized. How did they even manage to pull THAT off? I liked the old grouping a lot.

12 pages of 'you can't please everyone'. If this forum grouping is all you knew, you would never think it was an issue. Adapt.
