ty_ger:  What should I be looking for on my mobile device to change it back to the mobile version?

Didn't I already post the link?

http://forums.evga.com/m/

There is nothing to "look" for.  EVGA has not given you a way to go back other than knowing that you have to visite that link posted.

Hi.  Now when on the full version (on mobile only) you will see a "Back to Mobile" link on the top next to "Page Extras".  This does not appear if on a PC, only mobile.  Please note this functionality currently simply redirects to http://forums.evga.com/m/.  In the future, we may expand the functionality.

Thanks,
Rob

When sending private messages, if I enter an email address in the form of:

user@email.com

It gets highlighted, linked, etc.  Ok, some parsing going on there, sure.

The problem is when using Gmail aliases it shows up as broken:

user+evga@gmail.com

^- I didn't have to break it, it broke itself.  :)

It shows with those brackets and no parsing.  The "+" symbol is a perfectly legal character, and I have been using it for 9 years to track the sourcing of my email:

Mine had disappeared also.. so I went in, clicked to edit my current rig, changed it to private, saved, changed it back to public and checked 'set as primary rig' and saved again, and my ModsRigs link was back again under my avatar.

I just did that again @ 2 days ago - still doesn't work.  ..I have tried many, many different variations over the past few weeks that I could come up- just shy of deleting the entire thing and starting over.  ...and nothing works.

On the mobile version (Galaxy Nexus 720p resolution, Android 4.2.2, latest Chrome browser as of this post), when viewing All Forums, it just lists the categories.  I cannot tap on any link or even the icon to the right.

I always have to scroll down and tap "Flat" to get a list of all forums, which I can then click on any normal forum.

IOW, the default All Forums is un-usable in its current state.

Question about the PM system.  Is there a reason why we are limited to 500 inbound messages?  Personally I am a pack rat when it comes to communications and do not like to delete anything.  I have 350ish out of 500 in there, so I am ok for now, but I would like to see if the limit can be raised somehow.

Private Message Threading whoas...

I've created a folder called Archive that I've moved most threads off to.  Seemed to be working great.

Today I found a thread that I have NOT archived in my Inbox, and when I opened it to get information from the thread's post, all posts were gone - except the last reply!

This is the first one I have noticed.  Basically, I lost that entire chain of PMs - can't find it in Sent nor Archived.

And I second on lifting the 500 limit!  Besides attachments, I don't see why there is a limit of PMs anyways except to keep someone from a bottomless end of Inbox fan mail (maybe cap it to 100 max unread?  that would be the same thing)

I was just browsing for anyone who may have already brought this up.  I was going to post on this too...  It seems as though it stopped updating right around the time the forum format changed.

Are you checking the box for remember me?  The old forums required that because it looked for a cookie in your computer to function.  I am not sure, but I wouldn't be surprised if the same was true with the new forums.

a couple problems I still see on the new forum

when I type [link=mailto:folding@home]folding@home[/link] it makes it into a mail link like this

when I post long links, and the evga forum shortens it down it sometimes results in a dead link

Today is a new issue I have never had before. I cannot reply to a received PM, there simply is no longer an empty space at the bottom of PM to reply. This applies to all PM's I have now. I may be able to start a fresh PM ,if I click on a members name and pick out of the options to PM. Please look into this and fix ASAP!!!!! </ sad panda.\>

THANKS to Rob and ???? webmaster - I see my Mods Rig link has magically re-appeared finally. !!

Just noticed it..

Yes, fixed about 4 days ago.  The team had a chance to look into it and it was a relatively easy fix, surprisingly.

The avatar system and everything else in edit profile seems to have a major defective ...
I used Firefox 25.0.1 x64

If changing the avatar via the upload mode, I get this odd yellow avatar saying Error in black letters:
Here I upload the image which I want to use for my new avatar, it's dimensions are 146 x 150 pixels and 11.1 KB in size, which is all within the specs of 150 x 150 pixels and 20KB max size

At first it seems to have gone okay, but when going to my profile I get this:

And in the forums this also happens:

So to find a way around this I removed my avatar and used the URL method, but that too gave me issues:

If changing you avatar via the url mode this is what happens:
What I did was select the avatar I wanted which has a dimension of 146 x 150 pixels and is 11.1 KB in size all within the specs of 150 x 150 pixels and 20KB max size:

Saving seemed to of gone fine, as you can see that is neatly shows in my own profile:

But in the forums my avatar does not show up, instead it shows a blank odd space:

This looked rather serious I have PM'ed EVGA_RobB about this, but if any of you here @ EVGA forums plan to change your avatar, it would be wise not to do that just yet, the forums seem to be having great issues again and as you can see, my avatar is still messed up

The avatar I wanted to use is this one; a Tylosaurus proriger playing with an Ammonite

!!! Update !!!

Well it seems my Firefox was corrupted, anyways the bahvior was weird, because I didnt'; do anythign odd with my firefox installation, this was also the first time this ever took place with me and to use a different browserisn;t easy due to my Autism, anyways it is working for now, if anything happens I will report back, thanks for reading.

At first I could not uninstall Firefox, so what I did was just delete it the old, way, this did not delete everything it seemed, as it didn't touch the registry.
After this I did a new download of Firefox 25.0.1 x64 UK, did a reinstall with that, then I could uninstall it and after this I did an other new reinstall agaon and that finally did it, now I see my avatar normally:
