High Speed Tech Station, HPTX model
5960x CPU OC to 4.3gig 43x100
Classified X99 MB
16 gig Corsair Vengeance 2800
Corsair HX1050 power supply
Noctua D14 Air Cooler
Video HIS 7970
Intel SSD

I use this pc in chess analysis so my video card is not needed, I don't play video games.
I have had an SR-2 for four years and was satisfied with my EVGA product so I bought another.
Stable so far at 4.3, I will take it up some more after the next bios release for 2800 memory.
Runs cool.
Flashed all three Bios from inside Bios using a flash drive, easy process using the support here.
I was disappointed in the first PCIE slot being covered by my cpu cooler.
I was also disappointed with the overclock info available.
Yes I watched all the X99 classified videos on YouTube, they weren't very good.
It is like we are on our own with OC detail.
After the next Bios release, I will see what my cpu limits are.
I am satisfied with my choices so far, just wish more people were sharing their overclocking detail.
My system is very sensitive to BCLK changes.

Here is a pic of my Noctua hanging over the first PCIE slot.
I don't play video games so it doesn't matter.

Raid 0 using EVGA Classified X99.
    Setup easy to use.
Three hard drives plugged in to three Raid ports.
    Used Diskpart for clean all.
after going into bios and selecting raid, then restart and use Ctrl I.
I am curious how dependable this raid is.

I like the EVGA MB so far. I am waiting on the next bios, maybe I should not have purchased the 2800 memory. I am hoping the memory issue will be fixed with the next release. I was hoping there would be a lot of builds posted here, there is not very many. I was also hoping that there would be a lot of info posted on overclocking, exchanging different ideas. Maybe sales are down.
    Good luck with your build.
Are you going to use two power supplies since you will be running 4 titans?
Also wonder if you need two receptacles for two power supplies?
115 volts x 13 amps = 1380 watts which is about the limit for a receptacle.
You can run a dedicated 20 amp circuit which should be enough.
I ran two 15 amp circuits to my computer room.

Is that Noctua heatsink compatible with that socket, or did it need modding?  Newegg doesn't show official support for LGA 2011.

For now EVGA have nicest BIOS of all motherboards.
I like more than on new ASUS boards, EVGA BIOS is done with more style and nice ideas.

Newegg has the D14 and the D15 listed for the socket 2011.
It takes the same mount for the 2011-v3 socket.
    Bolts right up.
Just gave it a good cleaning.
Would not clear the tall coolers on the platinum memory, had to remove the bottom three cooling fins  and raise one fan.

Hmm, does it cover up that top x16 slot as they say on the Noctua site?

I cannot use my top PCEI slot. The Noctua covers the first slot, that is with the 14, the 15 is bigger.
Since I use my pc for chess and not video games, it is not a problem for me.
Should not be a problem, the closed loop water coolers are affordable and seem  to have the bugs worked out.
I am only using the 14 because I had an extra.

ok here is my plan. i have the 4 titan black hydro copper signature cards and a plaxtor m.2 pcie 256g ssd and an x99 classified mb. from my rig on mods rig's (named wow hunter) i swapped out the pro 4/way sli bridge for a reg one so i could use the pro bridge in the new build. i have keyboard and mouse and 2 monitors at this point-need one more monitor. and yes going to use 2 power supply's. evga just came out with one of them that i have been waiting for, which is the 1600 watt platinum (to be used to power the gpu's only) the second power supply will be a 1000 watt platinum to power the mb, cpu, peripherals, and water cooling pumps, etc..  also, yes, i will have to run two dedicated lines to the room that the computer will be in from the circuit box, due to the currant draw. build will pull approx. 30 amps under full load. so, on a high-end build you need to take into consideration being able to supply clean, uninterrupted power for it to function correctly. already have sub panel in house. also planned for this build is a 5960x cpu and pc3200 ram 64g that i still need to pick up, and want to get 4 intel 730ssd 128g to run in a single raid 0 config. finishing off with 3 water-cooled loops; waiting on blocks for mb to come out! (reason for sub panel is that most homes daisy chain the circuits and have between 4-5 outlets on one 20 amp breaker; therefore can't handle the load.)

With 4 SSDs i wouldn't recommend using RAID 0, something like RAID 5 would be better suited to your needs
