The E097 has some other slight fixes, but otherwise, if you don't have a Broadwell-E, this likely will do little to nothing for you at this time.

Hey, the compatibility list hasn't been updated. Specifically what Broadwell-E chips are supported?

Basically, i7 Broadwell-E's should all be fine, Xeon, I do not have a support list for yet, but I will work with engineering to get those as well.

The Xeons are what I'm salivating over, to be honest. Thank you for getting back so quickly!

Not that I am aware of, it wasn't anywhere in the documentation I have.

It didn't appear to be fully functional in the previous release to be fair, vs my MSI Z97 board anyhow. The standard "reset boot commands" resulted in some wierd answers instead of saying "this variable is protected by a secure boot policy" like it should.

    By the "reset boot commands", i mean these;

    bcdedit /deletevalue nointegritychecks
    bcdedit /deletevalue loadoptions
    bcdedit /debug off
    bcdedit /deletevalue nx

I also noticed that no Broadwell-E Xeons were added to the support list - were there plans to post those as well?

    Hi,
did Adaptive OC change on this bios update?
On 1.20 when i set to Adaptive, the voltage adjustment for Override(Static) got reset to 0.0,
I guessed that meant it used default voltage and the Adaptive voltage got added if needed.
Now Override just stays at 1.0 and voltage increase by 0.02 on CPU and not sure how much on uncore/ring :>
Is this intended? I can adapt settings if so, just wondering. ^^
Board is 151-HE-E999, CPU 5960x 4.6/3.6, G.Skill Memory 3200. Testing cause possible CPU upgrade soon.

I ordered a 6850k for the new x99 I aquired. Just sent an email over to support for a bios chip for the board as I have no older 2011 chips to boot and flash the bios on the board. Hopefully they can send that out soonish.

This version work with Xeon E5 2630 v4 on my X99 Micro (131-HE-E995-KR). I setup cpu ratio in bios and saw overclock frequency in bios but didn't work in OS. Only 2.4Ghz max for 100% loading.

I found that in google "All the haswell-ep/2011-3 Xeons have the multiplier locked. Sadly, the Sandy Bridge-EP wer the last of a kind."
    Forget overclock on Xeon.

The only Sandy Bridge Xeons that were multiplier unlocked, to my knowledge, were the E5 16XX series - the same has been true for the V2 and the V3 series. For certain the V4 26XX, 46XX, and 8XXX series are also multiplier locked - the 16XX V4s aren't out yet, but they should hopefully be multiplier unlocked same as the V1, V2, and V3 series.

6950x confirmed on the way in 6 days, should have it in 8 days :D
Still would like to know if adaptive works like intended on 2.02, since it is different from 1.20?
Mentioned it in previous post above.
Would be nice to know before change, that everything is like it should be. :>

Hehe, i'll be picking up one of those in a few months, when you get it you mind just a 4.0GHz test and seeing how much power it uses on Prime95 v28.9? And what its temps are like? Would be great thanks i'm planning an air build with one of those beasts at just a 4ghz clock, nothing super spectacular on the OC side of things but its 10 cores :D

It adds Broadwell-E compatibility as well as slight memory compatibility improvements, and other small fixes, for the X99 Classified, FTW, and Micro 1/2. For the FTW K it just added Broadwell-E compatibility supposedly.

Edit: and there have been reports that the 2.02 update broke Secure Boot.

You can modify the splash image with the AMI ChangeLogo v5 tool, i dont know about disabling it. I guess you could replace it with a solid black image.

I hate it when patch notes are vague like that.  If a variable was changed from float to an int in source code file 37 line 83 I want to know about it :P
