Can you elaborate on the issue?

When the screen turns black.. the pc is still on and the screen is still on.. but black. saying it lost signal..Only way to turn it off is to hold the power button it does not let me press the reset button.Ive tried reconnecting the cable going the the monitor but thats not it and tried all the basic things.Theres no patterns..

ive done most all basic things a person would do i strongly believe is the gpu.What are my choices andhow do i tell evga to warranty this?

I have a problem with my EVGA GeForce GTX 970 Superclocked ACX 2.0r. I have random black screens while i playing and I don't know why. I monitor the gpu temps in game and its ok around 70ºC, it isn't overclocked and its updated.

It's random, it can happen at 10 min 1h or 3h. When the black screen happens the pc still works but the monitor goes into energy save mode and it says there isn't signal from pc and i have to turned off from tower button and turned on again because if i press the reset button only the computer resets but the monitor stills in energy save mode.

Actually I have only played Company of Heroes 2 and Metro Last Light and in this one i haven't had black screens, its only in company of heroes 2.

I don't know if it could be a driver problem or a hardware mode but the stress tests furmarkt and Ungine Heaven works well on max settings. Should I process the warranty??? Wait for new drivers??? I'm frustated because i bearly bought this pc and i have had this problem. i'm not the only one with this problem.

Sounds exactly like Jshiver90's issue in this thread. EVGA tech support is working on a fix for the issue for the 980 FTW cards. Sounds like the issue is spilling over to the 970's now.
