Sorry if I didn't read through all the posts, but why aren't you buying online again? Fry's doesn't have all the varieties to choose from. From the memory brands that they offer, it seems that Corsair is the only good one. So I would go with 2x4GB Dominators or the 2x4GB Vengences, since I think you said you wanted 8GB, its either 8 or 4

I am just trying to avoid buying things online as much as possible incase of issues, and returns.

In Process- P8Z68,i52500K,8GBVENGEANCE,GTX580,AX850,IN WIN DRAGON RIDER.

The trick to seeing the specs, is look for the part # listed at fry's

Then do a web search to find a reperable company that will tell the customer what they are buying, and offer reviews.

after you know what you are buying if you still want to deal with a company that will not provide you with all the information you need, that's up to you, I will often do that if I can get a better price. some companies make you give up customer service for lower prices.

Almost ALL products come with warranty and issues buying from Newegg or Amazon is slim to none.  You get better deals and a better variety of items. And like KMoore said, Newegg does have good customer service and is not a hassle

+1 on NewEgg. Had to exchange a DOA PSU with them. Was a breeze and had an RMA number the next day.

EVGA just released one, I just won one from them yesterday, if you can wait a few weeks I'll review it.

I am having issues trying to find a good heatsink for a 1155 socket and i5.

Proliamtech Megahalems Rev.B with a couple CoolerMaster BladeMaster Fans. You don't need 2 fans but it's an option. Or you can get the Noctua NH-D14, ThermalRight Silver Arrow. But they are bigger and for really big Overclocks.
1156 Heatsinks fit 1155 Sockets as well.

Edit-Forgot about EVGA New Cooler. No one really knows anything about it though.

Ugh, I need one now.

Anyways, there are plenty of CPU coolers out there that fits the Sandy (all the 1156 socket ones do).  We'd find one for you if you have any preferences  (edit: beat me to it)
From what I've researched/heard, the EVGA CPU SUPERCOOLER is based on THe Swiftech Polaris 120, better than the Hyper 212+ but more expensive too

+1 on the Blade Masters, using one as rear exhaust fan and it does a great job.  Might be loud if ramped up high.

Oh come on, online shopping is the way to go at this rate. We're not in 90's anymore. However, if you're dead set on store shopping, then I'd suggest these.

http://www.frys.com/produ...sr:SEARCH:MAIN_RSLT_PG

http://www.frys.com/produ...RCH:MAIN_RSLT_PG  x2 1.9v, lol. But you can undervolt and they'd still do their rated speeds hence the good IC's.

That is an awesome budget cooler, I had it before I changed to the Frio. Overclocked my i7-920 to 3.8 no problem. And yes it will fit, just remember that the screws have the be in the center position.  I sold my Hyper 212+ to a friend and his sandy bridge (2500k) and it keeps the temps low.  You should also buy another Blade Master so you can have a push-pull configuration.

Good one for stock or light overclocking. 2500K was designed with Overclocking in mind and you may want one of the coolers I mentioned above if you want to push it to it's limits.

She's a beauty, everyone seems to like it. I, of course, have it's smaller cousin the HAF 912, its enough for me.  The HAF932 has better airflow(as it is bigger).  And you can also see from the Newegg reviews that it gets 5 eggs :)

On a side note EVGA will be giving away 150 more of these, if you can setup a mod rig, and take a picture of it with your cooler, then post here and request a few comments, you stand a decent chance of gitting one for free, ( odds deturmined by # of entries. ) [ not to mention a shot at a $1,000  sponsership, if you can post a vantage link as well ]

At least look at the HAF-X it's newer and has some cool features, I have two, and two 932's,

The removable bays, slide cover over the power switch, a little larger, USB3 ports, SSD bay, are just a few of the advantages.

IMHO yes. I have two of each, and have bought my last 932. The fact that it will accomadate the H-70, cooler, has a bay for two ssd's,  and has the USB3 plugs was enough for me, I like the slide cover over the power switch, I have a 4 year old that likes to grab things and push buttons, can not tell you how many times I have been typing away and my system shut down, only to turn around to see her standing there with a finger on the power switch. If you keep your PC in your bedroom, it's nice to be able to turn off the light on the front fan with the touch of a button.

D9 chips, two kits of those would be great.

For the EVGA P67 board, Newegg is OOS, EVGA has both the SLI(199.99-20 rebate) and FTW. Amazon has both also.

People have there brand loyalty and swear by that brand. I get EVGA for the warranty and customer service and they make good boards. They just had a bad launch with P67. IMO EVGA boards are better and I like there BIOS better, when it comes to the X58 series anyways. Not sure when it comes to P67.

People have there brand loyalty and swear by that brand. I get EVGA for the warranty and customer service and they make good boards. They just had a bad launch with P67. IMO EVGA boards are better and I like there BIOS better, when it comes to the X58 series anyways. Not sure when it comes to P67.

I do love EVGA for the exact reasons in the quote, I think the P67 bios is UEFI with all the fancy schmancy GUI. When I built a Sandy platform for a friend, I went with an ASUS P8P67 Deluxe(which is almost the same as the EVO)because EVGA hasn't released theirs yet. And I'm just confused by ASUS sometimes... They just try to put everything on there and its just an overload. I don't like it, if I'm buying a graphics card or mother board, EVGA all the way.

Yeah that makes sense to both your response.

In another forum a guy is strongly suggesting I go with a Radeon 6970 over the GTX 570 due to the 2GB on board mem compared to the 1.2 on the 570. Most things I read have the 570 rated higher but I don't know how to argue the onboard memory.

Well I don't have a monitor bought yet.. so not exactly sure. I might use my 40inch 1080p LCD tv at times. Eye candy is very important.. The whole reason I am building a pc is to run games better than my consoles.. along with PC only games that is.

I am going to get a 22-24 inch LED Monitor.. so 1920 X something...

I am really leaning to the EVGA P67 FTW, and EVGA GTX 570 (eventually SLI)

If you just do 1920x1080/1200 with 4xAA then a 570 will be plenty of VRAM. Running two GTX470SC in SLI and have not run into a single issue with running out of RAM and I like Eye Candy.
Only really need 2+GB of VRAM for Surround setups or screens with big resolutions bigger than your average 1920x1080 monitor/TV. Size of the monitor or TV does not matter. 1080P is 1080P no matter how big you stretch it. I game on a 40" Sony Bravia.
