Are you using the USB 2.0 Port on the back I/O Panel?

USE IT FOR THE USB BOOT DEVICE YOU MADE!!!
Keep the KB Plugged in and remove the Mouse.

It will only show up if it is set as boot device and may need to be set in a USB 2.0 Port to boot...pun intended

Set Fast Boot in the BIOS (Boot menu screen), which on ON by default, to OFF..This can cause a problem when trying to boot from USB..You may not be able to see/boot from a USB flash drive unless you do..And as EVGATech_MDecker said, Enable the Windows 7 Installation setting.

    Just a thought.
