Can you give me the exact model # of yours so, I can look up the spex? Your current unit has the needed watts covered with 750 but, if the unit is lacking in the +12 volt rail amps...you could be in trouble. Each GTX 260 needs 36amps.
 
BTW, Nvidia SLI Ready is not as good as Nvidia SLI Certified.....there's a big difference. And is there an 80+ Certified rating sticker on the box?

Yes it does have the 80 plus it says pc power and cooling silencer 750 watt also says +12 powerful single rail. I think I'm going to go to bed. I'll leave memtest going over night

Good....you should not have to apply more than the rated 1.7v to them and also immediately check and adjust if necessary that the tREF is set to 7.8uS as, that is part of the requirements of the stix.

Ok...good. You should only need to run 1 or 2 complete passes of MemTest to determine if the two stix will work properly together.

Sorry, yes i have been working but i have great news..i ran memtest overnight with both sticks in and they both passed with 0 errors! I then ran prime 95 for about 2 hours. Core #3 failed when i checked and it passed 147 tests i believe. i have not had my computer on since then because i built a computer for my parents and i needed the disk drive because the one ordered hadnt came at the time.
