Need help achieving triple monitors. Come on in!

EVGA 04G-P4-3988-KR GeForce GTX 980 4GB 256-Bit GDDR5 PCI Express 3.0 Classified ACX 2.0 Video Card <-- 980 gtx I bought and installed with my 500watt platinum rated PSU. Everything has been working great on dual monitors, however we want to stretch this to 3 monitors on Windows 8 pro x64. We see there is a display port and currently we are using 1 HDMI, 1 DVI. What display port adapter do I need to purchase to make this work with a 3rd monitor? Is this card even capable of doing  3 monitors? If so please list the exact model of the display port to HDMI adapter I would need to get. I know getting the wrong adapter by 1 part number off can make or break this kind of thing. :/

    You can buy any DP to HDMI, but DP doesn't support analog so you wouldn't get any sound. But I doubt that matters considering that I've never used sound through my display cables. So you should get display (digital) through any DP to HDMI so just buy one and you don't really need to worry about buying the wrong one. However, if you want I can give you the all good on a cable your looking at if you posted it.

    You should be able to get away with going from DP to anything, but keep in mind that it will only do 1080p through an adaptor. You should get audio going from DP --> HDMI or DVI but I could not guarantee it as you'd be going through a third party adaptor at that point. No audio going from DP --> VGA, however.
     
    And yes, your 980 Classified can support up to 5 monitors at any one time.
