So I am back! I always seem to have issues hahah.
 
So now for the info....
 
I have 5x 750 gb Samsung 840 Evo Drives in raid 0 and did have them running on my LSI 9265-8i raid card for a good 5-6 months without problems. I began noticing a slowdown in my system when attempting to install programs or update anything as the system would become unresponsive. I ran a few benchmarks and noticed that my 16 random read in WinSAT disk was low. My 4k and 4k-64thrd in ASSD were slow and the same showed in Crystal disk also showed the same slowness.  I attempted to recreate my Array and still the same issue. I moved my 9265 onto my other computer and still the same. I Figured something went bust with my drives since the slowdown seemed really strange and I asked Samsung to RMA my 5 drives and they did. The replacement drives still the do the same thing -_-.
 
I also hooked up the SSD's to my intel port on my motherboard and they actually showed great results. I had 550ish for the 4k and that seems like a great amount. How can two drives on my intel board perform that much better than the raid card ? lol... So I got very frustrated and caved in thinking my Raid card went bad or something. I opened a ticket  with LSI but I am impatient so I stopped by Newegg yesterday and picked up the LSI 9361-8i thinking it would help.... Well... It did for the seq read and writes but the 4k is still bad haha -_-.
 
I am at a loss and need advice. I have tried to change the settings on the raid card along with 64k stripe size and 128 but still no dice. I get the same results every time. I could remember when I first set these drives up I would get around 1000 MB/s on the 4k  unless I am going crazy. 
 
The provided benches are on the 9361-8i and I created a 400gb VD for testing.

Any ideas?
 
*** Update, I see errors in the Megraid storage manager and was wondering if anyone knew what these errors were about? I Sanitary Erased all 5 drives and get the same results and the same errors every time.****
 


 

I have been working with LSI to make a few changes and things look kind of ok but I was expecting better results.

Still have a few controller and drive errors so lets see what they say
