Yes, and what RaMansell said is really correct. If you can afford a rig like this and the expense of (3) ZR30w's, then a desk large enough to support them should be "on the list"!! One of the reasons I went with a 30" monitor was to avoid having to run multiple 23-24" monitors. Rick PS: Another thought about managing multiple 30" monitors would be to check into those wall-mount articulating monitor holders. If they allowed enough movement to pull the monitors close enough for viewing, then that might be a solution to your desktop real estate issue.

RaMansell Bigger desk! This, you won't be able to get 2560x1600 in a 24" monitor. If you have room for 3 27" monitors you can use 2560x1440. (Dell UltraSharp 27")

Thanks for all your help! As for the ssd, I bought the crucial REAL ssd 256mb! It was a great deal- 6gbps and $500! I attached a picture of the workspace that I will use. The laptop is a G73JW and the monitor is a cheap-o acer 19 inch.

I got the x5680's for a great price, but I will not disclose the location (it is MUCH cheaper than newegg, though!) I thought the 90's did no better for oc'ing anyway!

It is my privilege to announce that a winner for my watercooling setup has been chosen! That winner is Halo_003! A big congratulations to you! I will also will be watercooling the mobo! Now all that is left is a loop suggestion! But I have a few questions: What is this connector for? What do I do with this stop fitting and Y connector? It seems the rad has more long screws than I can use! How do I attach it? And last but not least, on the rad what are the in and out connectors? There are no markings!!!!!!

Not sure what you mean by winner unless you just mean your using my design. That connector looks to just be a barb fitting. I believe. The Y connector is going to be at the bottom of your loop, with the setup like this... from pumps || / \ / \ / \ / \ rest of loop drain line w/ stop fitting With the rad screws I'll get you a pic of how mine is set up. Edit: Here, I use the short screws to attach the 38mm fans. (Ultra Kazes) And here I use the long screws to attach 120mm shrouds on the other side. The radiator doesn't have a designated in/out, whichever side you want will work for both in and out.

Also, does the rotation of the pump matter if I turn it around 180 degrees? Which is in and out on the pump top? One seems to have the nozzle at the top of the impeller, the other at the nozzle location.

The in is the center on the top of the pump top. The out is the one at the original location.

chillernr: I got the 5680. The 90 only has an extra multiplier, pointless for overclocking. I got a RealSSD. I do not like the revodrives. I have the mm case. I have the mobo. I got 2x v8800 firepro. I got coolermaster sickleflow fans. Liquid CPU cooling. I got ripjaws ram. and Strider 1500w MODULAR supply. Halo: The fans would not fit because the tolerances are off. They sent me a new one. Will test it today to see if it works. They also sent a GTX120, so I will add that to my loop to cool the mobobo block separately. I need a loop suggestion with that GTX 120 Rad.

Andrew, In 1 years time there will always be the possibility that something better greater stronger faster more or less voltage will come out. You can wait a year. Do you want to wait a year? The circuit board market is nearly always in flux just like with cars the second you drive it off the lot it looses 50% of its value. You can keep waiting and waiting or you can build the biggest possible with current tech and be fine for several years without any changes to your system. Will a better setup come out? Probably the difference will be you wont have had it on the market long enough to know exactly what other hardware will work well with it and you will want to wait till you know for sure things are compatible or tested or a better firmware comes out. Either Build your system or wait a year an build it then. The only difference will be how long it takes you to upgrade. Today or next year you will still be able to run the same programs with just about any enthusiast rig.. even after 4 years.

I don't have an ATI card, but I can't fault someone for choosing ATI, it all depends on what you want to do with it. Personally i find the Nvidia selection to be more versitile, but that's because of CUDA and bigger memory options.

because hes getting ati workstation cards, to spend that kind of money and get ati workstation cards vs nvidia workstation cards it does not make sense... at all... someone who does 3d/cg or even engineering/science scratching their head going really are you kidding me... he should just get himself a nice car... because the gpus hes putting in defeats the purpose of spending that much money...

nVidia fanboy. Perhaps you have not heard a v8800 can drive 4 2 MP monitors at once and a v9800 6 2MP monitors. The power is simply not comparable to anything on the market. Last time I checked, the 5870 was the best card on the market.
