Just installed 2x GTX960 ssc cards, the version I have has only one dvi connection, and several others that are not.
 
I installed cards successfully[sli] but started with only one monitor due to the fact that my 2 monitor set up are both dvi conn. [using dvi connection on samsung 22"] all was good sli and single.
 
upon closer inspection , the "Benq FP222 WH" I used as a secondary with old cards has an hdmi port...and so does the new card...so I hook it up. all goes well til I go to adjust the resolution and the native resolution is now changed...and it will not display the correct res @ 60 Hrz. with HDMI, but works fine with dvi.
 
Any help on where to start much appreciated. perhaps some updated rules on dual monitor setup using 1 hdmi and one dvi.
 
most current drivers from nvidia
win7 home premium X64
X58/759 classified>highest rev bios
2- GTX960 ssc 4 gig - sli / PN... 04g-p4-3966 kr
12 gig @1600 tri-channel

the cable is in working order, "checked with bluray player"/ clean install of video drivers today during the new cards install.
 
I didn't see any firmware update @ benq site.
