If you want full details on the tool here is a link to the translate site your downloading it from. It is a German site.

    Translated Link

From the looks of it he has coded this purely to tie in with the Nvidia drivers just like EVGA, MSI & ASUS have done with their tools.

    Thanks

I like the minimalist look, short of a fan profile ala Precision/Afterburner, I would say this is pretty interesting.

What about updates? The author says it's build upon NVIDIA's drivers among others.

and if evga doesn't mind the MSI voltage, cant see why an nvidia application would be any different

    Its a modded BIOS:

These are both selfmade applications by me not by NVIDIA. But NVIDIA Inspector is based 100% on the NVIDIA Driver ... nothing more.

The MSI Afterburner tool for fermi is still beta maybe it implements dynamic voltage table in future ...dunno.

Nope, most likely we'll stay within reference BIOS limits (i.e. 1087mV for 470 and 1138mV for ) and won't allow voltage limits to be overriden at BIOS level due to safety reasons. It can change only if MSI decide to ship cards with extended voltage limits themselves. And
for extreme overclocking we have an alternate overvoltage path anyway (locked in public builds, we provide it under NDA to extreme overclockers and overclocking parties only), which allows setting up to 1.5V as I mentioned here:

Hi Orbmu2k. Thanks for creating what looks like a promising tool. Going to be testing it out shortly.

    Cheers!

EDIT- I feel like a kid with a new toy.  :)

    GPU 3 of 3

    - I like the image uploader & fan control. Everything checks in AAAAA OK thus far. Overclocking is next. Been waiting for a program like this to come along.  Would be sweet to have a GPU temperature graphing option. Great work! :)

I have to ask. Now that you have had a chance to poke around in the 480 bios. Any chance of unlocking those 32 shader cores that Nvidia locked up. Making a 480=512

Looks like a couple of nice tools. My only problem is that when I mail them to myself as attachments to see what my isp's virus scan says, they get quarantined in the virus folder. Hopefully a false positive, since the tools look awesome.

Update: Did further scanning and I'm sure it's a false positive by my isp. MSSE says things are fine. Sorry to have mentioned it, but figured better safe than sorry.

GNielson Looks like a couple of nice tools. My only problem is that when I mail them to myself as attachments to see what my isp's virus scan says, they get quarantined in the virus folder. Hopefully a false positive, since the tools look awesome.

    Scouting for NGOHQ or something?...

I rechecked the download with MSE all clean.

My development/publishing system is MSSE and MalwareBytes clean too.
