Did they fix the native-range colour issue via displayport/HDMI?

Hahaha! I don't even have my "good" cards in my computer yet. I should have them in a week or so, and will have to update at that time anyway, so I am just going to wait.

Re: NVIDIA GeForce 340.52 released! Not So Good For Folding. 2014/07/29 19:49:27 (permalink)
I will test this driver on my 680 this weekend for Folding to see if what happens.
My Current version is still 326.80 Beta

So far I would say No to this Driver for any card below GK110.

    From HFM

This Saturday I will run the new driver on my GTX 780 Rig.

My compare is not which card is better or faster but more to is it even worth Folding on older NVIDIA GK107 and below cards with the current Projects that F@H have provide us to run. This is on Dedicated Folding Hardware that run 7x24.

GTX 780 Rig. Yep AMD for Folding has the upper hand over NVIDIA.

What if you don't want to use geforece experience nor nvidia inspector?, why can't sli profiles be installed with the driver?, why can't they make sli profiles seperate?

Not liking this bit ...GRID Autosport – added profile (download via GeForce Experience)

But i don't want to use geforce experience, i only want to install the gpu driver and physx software, is amd any better at this?, i remember they had CAPS for crossfire.

    Windows 10 64-bit. Maximus 8 Hero. i5-6600k @3.5-3.9GHz. 2X4GB 2133MHz. SSD. NVIDIA GTX 1080 FE. G-SYNC 1920x1080 144Hz. Scarlett 2i2. HX 1000i.

you can customize the driver, as for SLI profiles the people that don't have SLI don't really want to download a driver that large, nvidia moved the SLI profiles off the driver awhile ago, and so did AMD

How can you customize the driver if you have to install geforce experience to get the GRID autosport SLI profile?, this makes no sense at all to me. I will research but i am sure i just recentley became aware that AMD Radeon drivers install crossfire profiles with the GPU driver installation process?. Where are the nvidia SLI profiles stored when installing just the GPU driver and PhysX system software, where are the SLI profiles stored?.

All I install is the Driver / PhysX / HD Driver. Never had an issue using a custom and clean install of NVIDIA Drivers, on the other hand when I have to install AMD Drivers they I think they have a poor custom install process.

Mine works fine but no performance boost over the 337.88 driver.

    EDIT 23/08/2014:-
It has been about four weeks since i made this post and two weeks of the four has been problematic with the 340.52 driver. I have not OCed my 760 FTW since i got it and about two weeks into using the 340.52 driver i get random "bad pool header" BSODs. My PC use has not changed in anyway.

I have followed all the proper install steps and i always do a clean install. I have read the posts of different members who have problems with the 340.52 driver as long as the GPU is not GK110 and i can't help but wonder if this could be a contributing factor.

I have since reverted to the 337.88 driver which worked for me too.

    EDIT 26/08/2014:-
Since i switched back to the 337.88 driver all "bad pool header" BSODs have stopped and i am gaming in fine style again. Games MW3 & CoD Ghosts.

It it just my experience or is their some truth to the new drivers leaving out Kepler compatibility refinement?

I found Battlefield 4 crashes continually with the new driver my Titan Blacks ( in SLI ). Anyone else have the same problem or have a work around? I have just gone back to the old driver.

SLI and game profiles ARE installed with the driver. What GeForce Experience does is update game/application profiles that are updated and/or released between driver updates. Nvidia and EVGA, a couple of years ago, used to release SLI profile updates. They no longer do that.

Easiest solution I have found is to delete BF4 and play other games (and I loved BF4). You could also roll back to 337.88 if it worked better.

Help please! After installing this driver (clean install). My GTX 770 won't overclock. Even if I only increase power limit it will start throttling voltage and gpu clock. I've tried different overclocking utilities like Afterburner, I've rolled back drivers and still the same problem. Anybody have any ideas?

This 340.52 new  Driver is great much better and zero crash. I have test all benchmarks 3D Mark and 3D Mark 11 and Vally so far good! Have a look below the link of 3Dmark 11 Result Comparison compare from 337.88 to 340.52 and it increase 300 score on 340.52 WHQL!!!
NO change overclock still same currently overclock on both Drivers. (but on Memory bus clock is only down 10 offset)

What I did when install Driver...
Alway shut down EVGA Precision and RTSS (Check make sure it shut down properly) and untick in box for start up. (Overclock make sure set to default and voltage too)
Then start install Nvidia Driver and I did use tick a box to perform clean install in Nvidia Driver and Select Driver and PhysX ONLY and 3D driver for me and leave Ge force Experience after reboot then install GFE (Don't want install GFE then don't bother)
Tips use CCleaner to run both cleaner and regedit after reboot and before install GFE
You can put back running normal on EVGA Precision..overclock and tick box for start up...
have a go and Good Luck
    3DMark 11 score

Still artifacts in Vally benchmark :(

    This ^^

Doesn't seem to artifact as much though.. ? Before I remember the mountains in the background constantly producing artifacts.  Now, it's seem like it's doing it less, but it's still there.

So far after a couple hours each, playing Crysis3, Crysis2, and Wolfenstein, no issue's at all.  Everything is working as you'd expect...

I'm not happy with this driver on my GTX760, it causes some sudden FPS drops in BF4.
same issue was there with the previous WHQL but this is even worse.
so I went back to the 335.23WHQL which works for me the best in BF4.
