When we are living in the age of Quantum Computers and Brain Implants, it comes as  no wonder that there are rumors from highly reliable sources that it is almost guaranteed that NSA is implanting Backdoors in Intel and possibly AMD Chips. And after the recent leak of the PRISM operation by Edward Snowden it grows ever difficult to distinguish between paranoid fantasy and the brutal truth.

Having written for National dailies such as Dawn and the News, i now turn to WCCFTech to fulfill my inner geek and love for all things technology.

Intel, AMD Backdoor by NSA at the Predistribution Level

Meet Steve Blank one of Silicon Valleys leading experts, and according to Mr Blank he would be ‘extremely surprised’ to find out that the US NSA (National Security Agency) was not implanting backdoors onto Intel and AMD Chips – the worlds leading silicon industry giants.
The reasoning behind all this is very simple. To the NSA Hacking would be preferable to Cracking. For e.g there are some encryptions that not even NSA would be able to crack using conventional methods. The AES 256 bit encryption would require the power of roughly 10 Million Suns to crack on current TDP. So how would a security agency like NSA get the information? Obviously not using the conventional channel. Pay a fortune to make a Genius find a Zero-Day in the encryption? Maybe. The most practical course of action would be to simply get the information before or after encryption/decryption, and that is exactly what Mr Blank is claiming the NSA does.
Mr Blank began work as an NSA Contractor at the Pine Gap facility and when he recently heard that the NSA had gained access to Microsoft emails in the Pre-Encryption state, he realized that there was another way NSA could gain access, which was basically lying there to utilize.
Now meet Mr Jonathan Brossard a leading individual in the field of Pen Testing (Penetration Testing) and someone who demonstrated proof of concept of an actual nigh undetectable and incurable backdoor at last years Black Hat conference. Mr Brossard it seems also arrived at exactly the same conclusion as Mr Blank.

Intel, AMD Backdoor by NSA at the Postdistribution Level

That’s not all, apparently back when the PC industry was still young, whenever Intel had a problem they just replaced the entire chips, nowadays as everyone knows, they update the microcode the tiny reprogrammable part of the CPU that gets updated nearly every time you download a Microsoft update.
It is possible that the NSA could utilize this as a pathway to update or expand any hypothetically planted backdoor.
Theres one thing we have to admit, if this is true then this is pure genius by the NSA. An extremely efficient and nigh undetectable way to gain intelligence on just about anybody, and lets admit it who doesn’t use PCs anymore?
Apparently in response peeps over at the Russias Federal Guard Service are switching to electrical type writers and Australian secret services are blocking companies such as Lenova inside their infrastructure.
It is only fair to add that Intel denies all this speculation.

The NSA could also have created a neural network AI that is currently in its infancy but may someday decide that mankind is a threat to its existence, and launch a massive preemptive global nuclear strike on all major cities.

    But chances are, they didn't.

Yeahh. people said the same thing about Intel chips being able to track you everywhere with your laptop, later on it was shown that all mobile intel chips have GPS imbedded, later it was called ''Intel anti-theft service'' o an to make it even more ''laughable'' windows 7 is completely open for NSA or whoever wants to get in, so many back doors built in, but hey its all tinfoil hat stuff -_- even if its all coming out to light like a dog with diarrhea.

It's foolish to think that there isn't a back door. Most people shouldn't care because hardly anyone's life is interesting enough to monitor, but in our current government state where everything is focused around intelligence, it is foolish to think that the governments haven't found a way to ensure reliable monitoring systems are available if necessary regardless or of operating system usage or data encryption.

In the United States at least, security has usurped individual's rights.  That is to say, any individual who becomes a suspect for one reason or another, is effectively guilty until proven innocent under the Patriot Act.  It is necessary that presumed terrorists be considered guilty from the onset in order to justify the warrantless searches which they are quietly subjected to.  This presumably is all necessary for the sake of our nation's security and for the greater good of all the people.  As such, the contents of the constitution do not matter.

Additionally, any suspected terrorist can be detained indefinitely without any charges formally filed and without any trial by ones' peers.  You literally could be hauled away at any moment for any reason -- real or imaginary -- to any undisclosed location and your friends and family would not have the right to know why you were detained, where, or for how long due to supposed concerns of leaking security sensitive information.  Whether or not the concern was real, imaginary, or a mistake does not matter in the least.  Once a decision is made to detain someone, the decision is effectively final.  This is because the information becomes top secret and there is no requirement to ever release any details regarding the detainment.  Additionally, no one will ever want to admit any wrong-doing after a detainment decision has been made.  Effectively, a detainee is locked up, the key is thrown away, and all records destroyed.

The Patriot Act is scary.  In comparison, saying that the NSA could have hidden backdoors in systems seems obvious and seems like a laughing matter.

Kind of far fetched, but it's the NSA who knows what methods of surveillance they've been planning

how is this informative? NSA may or may not have done this. There is zero facts to this, pure speculation.

The sad part is that if this actually happens, it turns the constitution into a bad joke. On one side, it is manipulated by rich criminals to protect them (ie. right to not self incriminate) and on the other side it is manipulated by the government to infringe and disregard honest citizens rights (ie. right to privacy).
