No way this is a total. Go to the junkyard and get one off a red or beige one. No big deal on matching. They pull out that back-end and you'll be fine. I had someone hit me in behind while I was at a red light. My car was made to collapse and it was $4,000. Your Camry is half as expensive as my Infiniti and is much older. I would say $2,500 at the most. Buy it back and get it fixed. That car should be able to handle 200,000 miles.

When I got rear ended the damage was about the same. It cost progressive 8000 to fix it and I still had to take it back 3 times to get everything done correctly. I thing I would have done differently was holding out for more pain and suffering. I got 1000 for my shoulder being sore for a few weeks.

I am claiming back injury (which actually occurred). If I don't get at least 5k for my back then I'm definitely going to sue. I don't know if this will affect me in the future and I'm not going to take the chance on anything. If the guy hadn't been tailgating me so close, then I wouldn't have asked for anything outside of my car getting fixed, but this was caused by his direct negligence, and there won't be a cold day in hell I pay for someone else being stupid. Especially when it comes to my health.

My Laptop (GE63VR-7RF):
-7700HQ.
-16GB RAM.
-GTX 1070.
-128GB SSD.
-1X 1TB 7200 spinny drive.

Back injuries are nothing to take lightly.  Make sure you get checked out really well.

Yea I already went to a Chiropractor and just by feeling my lower back he told me there was light to moderate damage, so they took x-rays. I'm going back on Monday to find out how much damage has been done. And what really sucks most of all is, BOTH my jobs require me to be physical. My first one I stock the cooler at a Chevron (lifting 20-40lbs crates at times) and my second job I walk 8-12 miles a day.

Yea rain that's what I'm going to do. I just don't want a salvaged title as it costs more on insurance. I guess it really depends on how much they give me, if it's 5k+ then I'll just get a newer car. Do you remember what they gave you for your camry?

I got $4,000 for mine... I had like 130k miles on it at the time and it was a 1995, 4 cyl model.
