I'm wanting to buy/use a 1070 GTX FTW but need to know if it's gonna be able to drive my 144Hz BenQ XL2430T gaming monitor.  Please tell me it will easily.  Need to know ASAP, thanks

Yes, it will. It will not maintain a constant 144fps at maxed settings, though.

The card will run very well on that monitor but max framerates depends upon your entire system setup and the game itself. You'll never have 144fps as mentioned but the goal is to try to get as high a framerate as physically possible.

Even with all that said, if you were to achieve 100FPS, so to speak, that is still amazingly good, and I myself would be well satisfied with it. You won't be able to tell a difference.
