Running different Tasks now at 94% CPU Usage using 60 Cores and Temperatures are only hitting the High 40C, 48C Max.
I will leave One Core Per CPU Free, mostly for the OS.
I have made the changes to make the Server into a workstation, I have done this for years.
The Slowness went away after I installed the GTX 650Ti Card, I cannot wait for the GTX 1060 Card with they are finely in Stock.

You should try getting some Engineering Samples bcavnaugh, these OC very well, there is a tweaked Bios for this mobo that allows you to OC these CPU's as well btw, only advised if Seti(At)Home or Folding(At)Home is your main purpose.

If you seek pure stability and the greatest lifespan don't OC pack it with tons of Ram and  faster 6300 series 16 Core Opteron MP CPU's.
Run Windows  Server 2008R2 with the Windows 7 Tweak or Windows Server 2012R2 with the Windows 8.1 Tweak , more of that here:

For Windows Server 2008R2 Users:

For Windows Server 2012R2 Users:
http://www.win2012workstation.com/

More here:
http://www.win2008workstation.com/

Not to worry here I love these systems, 1CPU is plain boring to me, 2CPU or more and I am all in for it, keep it coming man, although if you want even better cooling for this system Ihighly advise you to use the same coolers Peter Tong & I are using, that are these:

4x Noctua NH-U9DO A3's
Here my friends system the one from Peter Tong form 2CPU.com which I helped configure and give CPU Cooler & PSU build advises :)

Here his system:

Here his temps @ max load  with all 48 Cores @ 3.1Ghz with 2 Dynatron D6's and two Noctua NH-U9DO A3's:

And here with all four Noctua NH-U9DO A3's 23C to 32C at max load Best Air Cooling for G34 right there.

His system setup:
"Quad Opty"
SuperMicro H8QGi-F
4x AMD Opteron 6100 D1 Engineering Sample CPU's  48 Cores / 48 Threads @ 2.1Ghz Max Stable OC @ 3.3Ghz all 48 Cores
16 x 2GB G.Skill PC3-12800 ECC Reg for 32GB 16 Channel DDR3-1600 ECC Reg.
Noctua NH-U9DO A3's
SuperMicro SC748S R1000B Server Case
Addonics AD4SAHMSA mSata SATA3 controller w/Samsung 840 EVOs
EVGA GeForce GTX 760 4GB 128Bit GDDR5

Windows Server 2008R2 Enterprise USA with Windows 7 Workstation tweak.

it would be nice if you would post your G34 based systems in the official Club G34 topic I am running @ 2CPU.com as well :)
http://forums.2cpu.com/showthread.php?t=97747&page=23

You would fit in very well man

I pulled out my Noctua CPU Coolers and replaced them with the Dynatron A5 AMD Opteron 6000 Series for socket G34 2U Active Solution 115 Watts 2 Ball Bearing CPU Coolers.
I still have the Noctua but want to see how well they do compared to the Noctua I did use if free standing.
Also I will setup my rig on official Club G34 as well.

Well Peter Tong tried this with his system, just as the temp pics show; them Noctua's destroy the cooling and acoustic performance of the Dynatrons all ways round.
For such a system the Noctua's do a far better job and are more worth the build as well, you could go for EK's Supremacy C32/G34 Water cooling blocks as well:
https://www.ekwb.com/shop...acy-amd-c32-g34-acetal

But since they are Out Of Stock I have found some good alternatives like these:

AquaComputer Cuplex Kryos Derlin for Socket G34, 1/4:
http://www.aquatuning.us/water-cooli...ockel-g34-g1/4

Sadly I could find no review of this water block, but I did find this:
http://forums.bit-tech.net/showthread.php?t=245135

Scorpuk is doing a 4CPU G34 Opteron Build with these, so you can always try asking that person on how they perform, or maybe others here at 2CPU.com ever tried these? Might be an option as well.

Here the Koolance CPU-380A:

Here a Review of the Koolance CPU 380A:

And there is the Danger Den MAZE4:

I did look for some CPU-380A but no one has them in stock. I did this last year and now Koolance no longer makes them.
I did get on of the new Koolance 390i Water Blocks for the Intel and REALLY like them over the 380i Block.
I would say as long as the CPU stay below 55C I should be fine.
I setup my account but cannot post yet, so I will check later in the upcoming week.

Well @ 2CP.com we mostly test with AIDA 64, Cinebench R15 x64, R11.5 x64 and BarsWF x64 CUDA :)
And there are some other programs others use, just take a good look around :) BarsWF x64 CUDA is by far my favored one with Cinebench R15 x64 :)

I also look forward on progress on this Quad G34 build of yours :)

I wish I had the money to do a build like this. But with a 3 year old, a new baby coming, two car payments, a mortgage, and other expenses, my spending cash is waaaay limited. I was lucky enough to get the 1070 without the wife cutting my fingers off (or the credit cards up)

Family is more important then building computers.

I plan to build computers with my daughter (and later, my son)
