well as the title says im looking to get a new case and mountains mods seems to fit the bill.
im looking at getting the ascension case
im planning on putting a triple and quad rad into the case, the problem is i can't seem to decide whether to get the a triple quad panel for the side or a 720 quad for the front, to mount the radiators on.
any input from anyone that has a similar setup would be fantastic

I'm buying my Extended Ascension tomorrow, and I'm getting the triple quad. More expandability for the future. I'm getting the Trinity front panel and the 10 PCI back panel, along with an XL-ATX mobo tray.

    Main Rig:
    Intel i7 920 [C0] @ 3.82Ghz | EVGA X58 [759] Classified (64) | MM Extended Ascension w/ Pedestal | Corsair HX1050
    24GB Patriot Viper II ‘Sector 7’ 2000mhz (9-11-9-27) @ 1.65v | 2x EVGA GTX480 (875/2000 @1.1v) | CPU, GPUs and Mobo on H2O

    Dedicated Folding Rig: ~In Progress~
    Intel i7 3770K | EVGA Panther Point Mobo | Corsair AX650 | 8GB Corsair Vengeance 2000mhz (10-10-10-27) @ 1.5v

You need a 10 PCI back panel if you wish to use the bottom PCI-E slot on the classified.

And if you're going to get the Ascension, why not spend like another 50 bucks more to get the extended edition; if you decide later to get the extension kit, it'll cost 180 for the kit.

    Main Rig:
    Intel i7 920 [C0] @ 3.82Ghz | EVGA X58 [759] Classified (64) | MM Extended Ascension w/ Pedestal | Corsair HX1050

ahh stop temping me!!! i think that the quad side panel and the 140.3 panel are enough for me since i could mount 4 rads in the case if needed

Exactly, the Trinity is where you mount your HDD's and intake fans, the triple quad is the top of the case.

If you're going to drop that much money for a case, why not spend the cash now to futureproof your case? It'll be cheaper now than later.

That's like getting the Mercedes but instead opting for cloth seats instead of leather (yes, I know, all Mercedes have leather seats; that was just an analogy to illustrate the point).

    Main Rig:

Dont forget that All the Acession cases have the ability to have a bottom added to them you can fit two 4x120mm or two 3x120mm Rads in it

You can actually stack pedestals up to like 3 (27 inches). Beyond that, and the case will probably be a bit too top heavy, unless you put all your liquid cooling stuff in the bottom and stabilize it that way.

I'm about to do that but with only 2 peds stacked on the bottom. The case is already huge w/ just 1 pedestal it's bigger than the mini fridge I have in the garage lol

Anyway's, ajr23 you won't regret getting the Ascension and if I can make one suggestion get the horizontal mobo you'll have more room in the bottom if you plan to use more than one pump.

Opps almost forgot it's also easier on cable routing if you run dual psu's w/ the horizontal mobo.

here are some pics i snapped while unpacking, all of the pieces barely fit on my pool table

ill be putting it together tomorrow to figure what i need in the way of rads and fans and will mostly likely be ordering a bunch of yate loon case fans and some scythe ultra kaze for the rad.  i already have a koolance 3x120mm rad for cpu and chipset and im thinking of getting at least 1 xspc rx 480 for a tri sli of the upcoming gt480

No, it's a top panel. But I suppose you could use it as a side panel, since MM cases are all hypermodular.
