you know you can always get windows 7 on torrents right? all my OS are free.... you can always get everything free at internet....

Pirating OS'es just isn't worth it anymore. Just pay the 100 bucks for OEM and not worry about the headaches of pirates OS's. If you want free, get linux.

im not sure about the rpm range for the stealth rads im assuming that it is similar since they have a similar fin density, look at skinnee labs they have tons of reviews for watercooling stuff.

well i ran into a bit of snag while building the case this evening, i didn't realize that the radiator only came with screws for 25mm fans and not 38mm fans so im thinking of ordering a couple of sets of these

alright i got the majority of everything put together still need to properly secure the reservoir, leak testing for the night doesn't look like it is going to leak but better safe than sorry.  i was kind of surprised by the amount of power that just the fans, fan controller and pumps use in total running full boar it pulled ~130w from the wall and where i plan of running all of the fans it uses ~90w kind of glad i got an old 350w psu laying around to use as an auxiliary psu also how i have the psu set up i can run all the fans and pumps without having to turn on the motherbboard. will get around to posting some pics tomorrow and hopefully some benchmarks later tis week

The fans by themselves are quiet but they push a lot of air and that makes a good bit of noise. However when I replaced my mesh fan grill with the wire fan grill the noise went way down.

thanks, the case has great air flow i tried to match the in and out cfm amount but i think that their is more cfm going out due to those awesome scythe kaze fans.  ill snap some more pictures later today. can't wait for fermi to come out then i get to tear apart all of watercooling stuff again. on a side note all of my watercooling stuff took about 2-2.5 liters of water to fill

Re:Looking at a Mountain Mods case 2010/02/21 11:11:28 (permalink)
you might as well get a chipset block i would recommend at least a mosfet block since mine helps my mosfet temps a lot a never go above 40c at full load. as for testing the loop i have a separate psu for just fans and wc so i didn't need to power the motherboard.  to test your system without powering the motherboard just cut a piece of wire and strip the end and put it in to the 24pin connector and put it in the pin for the green wire and any black wire pin and you can run the psu with out having to turn on the motherboard but instead by just flipping the power switch on the back of the psu
