85 fps in Heaven for an overclocked $660+ card? even my gtx670 can get 82.9 fps on those same settings when overclocked. thats only 2.5% difference plus there are people with higher overclocked gtx670 cards than mine.

I'd be with you on that one, as the performance gains really are marginal.

But the VRAM issue is very serious. It's severely lacking in all departments. Especially when you start modding games like Skyrim, or GTA 4 for instance. You will cap out vram usage immediately, guaranteed.

4gb should be *standard* for all enthusiast cards right now, in my opinion. Top-end should be around 6 or 8gb. Really.

60% more cost than my card for not even 3% more performance is insane though. and for me the vram would have no impact. if vram was an issue for me then I would just get a gtx670 with 4gb of vram.

True, it's still quite expensive. I would have gone with a 670 4GB, but it would have been a downgrade for me, with 480 SLI, and some games are really starting to top out on performance for me.

Well GTA 4 isn't the best example since it was a pretty poor port. I do play skyrim with a ton of mods and have never had slowdown or pop-in. (granted i may be over compensating with a 690 and just brow beating the problem with horsepower instead of vram) I will say that in Max Payne 3 there was 1 setting I couldn't use at Max, I think it was 8xMSAA (used 4x), that was the only concession i had to make which I think most would agree at the difference quality wise at that setting is minimal. And the reality is I would love to see what would happen if I could force 16x just to see what the performance hit would be, Rockstar not even letting the user decide is kind of a cop out.

I was going to say this thread should be about Khalus' card and benchies...if you want to have an argument a bout vram, start a new thread and do it there..I really don't think this is the place for it.
 

I am really surprised by your heaven overclock benchmarks.  To me looks like EVBOT is pretty essential to go with a classified over a FTW.

I get the picts ...are you not seeing them?
 

Congrats on the new Classy gtx680..looks very nice.
It seems to me, the FTW is the real winner in your benchmark photos, dollar for dollar speaking...
All that wait and money for a couple of frames?
or Am I missing something here?
 

It would be great if EVBot had an external connection for the Classified card like they do for the motherboards.

Have patience people, cause as far as I was told or read or speculated, forgot where I heard this, the Classified is really just a glorified FTW 4GB, but has voltage control to boost even higher.   Thats why I'm assuming my scores are pretty much identical until I can change the voltages. 

Also please stop with the Lightning or 670s are better in my thread.  There are multiple other discussions of them already, I've read them, I know your opinions and you don't need to keep repeating it here too!

 
Well, c'mon do it.....let see what this kickass card can do...i have the capital but I'm not impressed yet....

I assume that the huge fan contributes to a quieter card?

I can't tell whether you are joking or missed the 2 pages about him being screwed with an unflashed/worthless EVbot and waiting to get it back from EVGA?  He spent a lot of time working to get this stuff up for us.  Please have some respect and patience.  You could always do what he did and get one yourself.
