I just built a new PC, but when I start it up the screen is blank. My mobo has an LED that lights up when the corresponding pcie slot is occupied, but there is no light when my titan x is inserted. I tried this with an older card I own, a Gigabyte gtx 560, and the led lights up and my monitor shows the bios menu so I assume the mother board isn't the issue. I have both the 8 and 6 pin cables connected to the Titan and the fan and LED on the card lights up, but nothing from my mobo, so I think the power supply is not the problem as well. I have tried HDMI, DVI-D, and VGA, but to no avail. Is the GPU faulty?
Motherboard: Asus Rampage V Extreme
CPU: Intel i7 5960x
GPU: EVGA GTX Titan X superclocked 12gb
PSU: EVGA Supernova P2 1200W

So I know it sounds funny, but can you either use onboard graphics or your old graphics card and check for any motherboard BIOS updates. If you find one then install it and try that to see if it can fix the issue. The reason being is just because it's new in the box doesn't mean it wasn't sitting in a warehouse for a year. If that doesn't work then call EVGA at 888-881-3842 ex 1 and start the RMA process. Make sure to request an EAR RMA as this has free shipping. You will need to upload the invoice if you have not already to start the RMA.

+1 a motherboard BIOs update might fix this

AMD Ryzen 9 7950X,  Corsair Mp700 Pro M.2, 64GB Corsair Dominator Titanium DDR5  X670E Steel Legend, MSI RTX 4090 Associate Code: H5U80QBH6BH0AXF. I am NOT an employee of EVGA

I updated the BIOs and nothing still. It's on its way back and I'm getting a replacement. I find it odd that the pcie panel of the card is faulty and the rest of it works fine.

Mmmm sorry to hear, I hope you will get working TITAN X SC.
Smart because you choose TITAN X 12GB.
