    Matrox used to make some serious cards.  They gave up the race against ATI and Nvidia long ago.

    According to the first part of the article it's displayport, the last paragraph says HDMI. Might need to grab one of these for an upcoming project depending on price.

    Matrox is still quite relevant, they still have the best 2d quality around, while offering great solutions for multi display setups. They simply found their niche.

    To clarify, it's an AMD GPU with 9 DisplayPorts. I'm at a loss as to why they went this direction considering DisplayPort 1.3 can be daisy chained. No need for all those ports on the card to do 9 displays. Use MST hubs or daisy chain em.

    Strange way to fix the need for screen real estate. 
     
    Impressive that that can run 9 monitors with only 4GB RAM on the card.
     
    With large monitors so prevalent, I wonder what their target market is for this strange animal.
