Black... or plain steel.

Far left is cold blue 5160, middle 4 are 1084 (one cold blued) far right is san mai 1095 core with 304stainless jacket.

better look at the san mai

Only the far left is already finished in terms of a handle.  I debate on cord wrapping, but I have TONS of burl wood that I am stablizing.

So do guys like the cold blue'd black knives, or brushed steel.

one is a christmas gift actually.  As for adammantium... I am not sure carbide would cut it sadly.  If they made adammantium end mills, that would make me happy :)

Brushed steel with the burl, good choice going with the burl. Very nice work.

They all look good, my favorite is the dark, cold blue. The burl looks really nice. Looks like a fun project Nate!

thanks!  that was just a test piece to how well it would look to CNC a knife.  I left that knife outside for a month by accident.  Just slight rust on the actual cutting edge that was sharpened.  Alumahyde from brownells.  gun coating.  Its what I use on my waterblocks too ;)
