Xavier Zepherious Ah!...well that explains the OS problem I myself never buy the cheap version in the first place it's just better to have all the bells and whistles , in case you need it Considering Dad bought the Home Premium Upgrade disks, not me, I'm not upset. Ultimate's too expensive and the only W7 Professional is Dad's 32 bit OEM one.

$200 for OEM WIN7 ultimate? not bad versus $224 for retail home premium cough cough? Id assume the OEM the cheaper course Yea Id run it on Linux ..no issue for me, have previous versions used it on and off Learned Unix on Sun Spark stations (in University) so using linux wasn't that big of an issue Id run a Multiple boot system anyways Planning on putting Snow Leopard on as well

Xavier Zepherious now now Shykal... I said not to pester me unless YOU WANTED Some THING. Next thing you know MAD will come scrambling in here for his precious. Poor Golem... looking for precious. (or do you prefer we call you catwoman.) worried that someone might take you to some particular mountain. Lo and beholds look where you are. Sorry Golem... I didn't take your precious it keeps coming back. Aw are you calling me precious Xavier how sweet. In your dreams Mountain man, mind out of the gutter. Mad is the only mountain I'll climb and oh what a mountain he is .

you said your dad has win 7 professional? you could use that...just not activate it until you get your new OS ShyKal... we have to quit meeting like this. Mad's gonna get suspicious MAD ...You could have at least warned me about her habit of not letting go once she has her claws in.

I don't particularly like it and I'm not all that good with Linux. I've used Windows since Win95.

Letting my fellow MST'ers know, unfortunately, I had another GPU failure so my ppd will most likely drop below 30k from here on out unless some miracle happens where I can pick up another before the contest is over. I am going to work on getting an old dual core+2 8600 GT's running tomorrow to help make up for it. Sorry to let the team down, but im going to do my best to make it up!!

It must be fun to be on this team...You guys are a bit sporadic in your production, but when it comes it is a massive dump of points at once.

I could go out and buy an i7 and boost production(take 3-4 days to get here), but I was waiting for sandy-e and a 3930k contest almost over by then... won't make much of a dent we have a better chance finding new members out there and increasing PPD some more PS: Im with you DE next year my PPD should be over 200k+ PPD the big boys won't be messing around next year
