Hey guys!
Anyone who's seen my recent posts, will know, that I'm just getting back into "the loop" after some years in the tech wilderness.
My X99 Classy, has 2 M.2 ports, and I understand that the smaller one (Socket Type E), is mainly intended for WI-FI/Bluetooth adapters (such as the Intel 7260).
Theses PCB's have 2 small brass antenna connectors on the top, so does anyone know whether an antenna is included in the kit?   Seems too much metal surrounding the chip for an adequate signal?

The X99 Classified doesn't ship with any Wi-Fi antennas. You would need to find a card that ships with them, or find them sold separately. The only board that currently ships with included antennas is the Z97 Stinger Wi-Fi.

You misunderstood my question (perhaps, I didn't express it well),and the Z97 Stinger, doesn't solve my X99 Classified issue!
I meant, do any of the add-in M.2 Wi-Fi cards, such as the Intel 7260, ship with the antennae, of is the antenna a standard connector format, that can be purchased separately?

You would get the best answer by contacting the card manufacturer, but as far as I can tell at least with the Intel 7260 it does not appear come with an antenna.
