As a 980ti performs the same as a titan x, it wouldn't be the same as a 780ti. The 980ti would be nearly equivalent, minus the few Cuda and 6gb of vram, to a titan x with the 980ti out performing the titan x in many aspects, especially cost to performance.

The 780ti and 980 non ti are nearly the same though. As seen in the article posted above, by James, the 980ti performs nearly 25-40% better than a 780ti in synthetic benchmarks and real world games, so saying they are the same is far from correct.

http://m.gadgets.ndtv.com...ng-and-beyond-1-715609 for a 980ti to titan x comparison, to show they are equal except the cuda cores, price and vram.

Im pretty sure i know this more than you :)  I allways OC my cards from 4 titans to 4 780Ti classys, to 2 titan X going into a 3TH later on then to 3-4 Pascal Gpus when release.

980TI and Titan X at the same clock speeds, They are different :)   a 980 can OC to 1.550-1.6ghz more on ln2 ofc and takes out a 780TI,  had mine 780TI classy to around 1.450-1.5ghz

I misread your first post and thought you compared a 780ti to a 980ti, and missed that you meant 780ti sli setup.

And please feel free to flash how much more you know off of a reading error. ;-) I apologize for my reading mistake.
