I have an X51 R2 (330w PSU edition).

When i got the rig its specs were:

i7 4th Gen 4790 (Not K)
R9 270X 2GB
8GB DDR3 RAM
330w PSU

Now it is:

i7 4th Gen 4790
EVGA GTX 970 4GB SC ACX 2.0
16GB DDR3 HyperfuryX
600W EVGA Bronze 600B

What i want:

I want to upgrade from the boring Motherboard my X51 came with. I want EVGA, because after my switch to Nvidia after my years with AMD came with great help from multiple EVGA staff, and support, and a lot of the members! So i don't want to stray away, which leads me to my question: What is a good priced Motherboard for my new case and will support my gaming, streaming, addictions?! I live in Canada.

My Case:

Fractal-Design Define R4

http://www.fractal-design.../define-r4-black-pearl

I'm Willing To Spend:

$0-200 CAD

    Pretty card.

I would say my price range right now, 0-200. I am currently waiting to see the prices for Black Friday sales. That's a pretty hot little motherboard :D

I should also note i live in Canada.

You can always stalk amazon as well since it's 169 there and read some of the reviews but it's the best mobo for price in the z97 series in my opinion.

Thank you both for your input. I have put both MB's on my "Watchlist" on a few websites, and sometimes this week will pick up one of those 2, or the same series! :D

Well, i went against my word! I didn't buy an AVGA :( But i did buy a EVGA Supernova 1000G2 1000W 80PLUS Gold PSU for under a $100 and a ASUS Maximus VII Hero for $135

I feel like NCIX might have had a problem with pricing. I happend missed out on an error of i7 4790K for $150 on Tigerdirect. BLAST! 5minutes too late.

Ummm, don't think your DD4 memory is compatible with 1150 socket. Might want to double check mobo compatibility.

Yup 1150 is stuck at DDR3 but hey we get super M.2 SATA:D

Are the EVGA MOBO's actually stable?  Remember the nightmare that was the X79 series, the complaints of the X79 Dark...and looking at the Z97 section still seems to have issues...

    RIG 1 - i7-4790K / Asus Z97 Gryphon / AMD Sapphire RX Vega 64 / 8GB*8GB G.Skill Trident X 2400Mhz CL10 / SeaSonic Prime Ultra 1000w Plat

    EDIT:

I also checked, my RAM is not DDR4, it is DDR3, so i guess i will sell the new memory coming xD "Point at the idiot" lol
