Just curious as to what the longest game(s) you guys have played to take you to finish (or try to). Mine is definitely Just Cause 2. I have almost 18 hours and am only 21% complete (this is with some fooling around though).

I would have to say Oblivion. Played it for hours, and never did finish that game. It goes on and on and on.

Dragon Age Origins - 42 hours for the SP campaign including all DLCs up to Amgarrak, plus 12 hours for Awakening. So 56 hours yeah?

Well, a buddy and me played Dynasty Warriors 4 for about 70 hours and unlocked all but one character.
Other than that, by my self the longest game I have played would probably have to be Assasin's Creed. I think my game play time was somewhere around 32 hours or so. Working on the second, but it is quite a bit more complex and I have been drawn into WoW for the last 8 months. Finally gave that up just last week and am moving on to SC II.

Final fantasy X. Played it the weekend I got my wisdom teeth out and took around 49hrs to complete with side quests and mini-games.

One of the S.T.A.L.K.E.R. games, probably Clear Sky or Call of Pripyat. I don't rush though, I take my time to become a millionare and gather hundreds of kilograms of equipment. Overall I usually spend around 30-40 hours in a single campaign.

You are. And to the guy who said KOTOR, well, that one doesn't take long either. It took me like 40 hours. The longest game I can think of, well, it's not so much about "finishing it" but unlocking everything, is Dynasty Warriors, Gundam 2. Another game, that takes a LONG time to finish, and lives up to it's title, is Star Ocean: Till the End of Time.

Man, you guys are young. The original FF games? 30-40 hours? LOL. Minimum 80+, with several going over 150 hours if you want everything. Still haven't "finished" all of the endings on Chrono Trigger, with probably close to 180 hours on that game. Man, 30-40 hours, lol.

Got 70 hrs in my first toon in DAO, did not finish the game. then I wiped my HDD without backing it up, so DAO toon is gone.  Had over 1200 hrs in HGL for the single year it was alive for.

Lets see...I think the game i have the most invested in would be FFVII, I think I have about 400hrs all together. That does include 10 mater materia's. Of course that means getting every 'extra' in the game.
Recently though, Id have to say ive put about 100 hours or so into fallout 3 with all the DLC's

FPS's can still have a good one story mode.
COD4 was pretty fun, so was COD MW2 (Which I still have not beaten.)

Other than MMOs, I think the longest I played a game was Daggerfall... I played that for hours a day one summer and finally beat it. I would estimate about 350-400 hours on that one game... and I still didn't do everything.

The stalker games go by so slowly to me. Been around 30 to finish clear sky ( BTW, complete mod rocks  )
