Nice upgrade for your X360 fsuwade It must run a lot better now, ever got a chance to OC it?
nozler

I have a Lian Li I just picked up the other day but sadly it will be awhile before the build, still accumulating parts. It,s the last one of it,s kind as far as I can tell in the US or Canada it was shipped from Canada here to the states. I pondered on buying it for a long time, and finally said to myself the heck with it I like it ,I,ll get some slack but I really like the color.I,m gonna throw 3 GTX 3gb 580,s and put them and the cpu under water. So it,s gonna be modded. PC-888:)

ahhh nooicce!! the PC0888 that Burj Al Arab 7 Star Hotel haha nicers!!! can't wait to see pics of this beauty man!

Don't know if this counts since I moved on, but it's an old PC-75.  I bought it used for $100 from a roomate 6 years ago, just replaced it finally last week.  It wasn't doing it cooling wise and I didn't think it had the ability to be modded to make it now.

That case looks slightly familiar.

Here is my setup:

But what's a nice case without nice hardware?

3 480s? How about 4.

And the obligatory CPU cooler close-up.

Oh, and why not add a little personalization?

I'm working on the cables atm.

Man I love them GF100-375-A3's you have here:

Their heatpipes and their crocodle amor really make them look special amongst other VGA cards, they also remind me of an exhaust manifold a friend of mine has in his Mitsubishi Colt-Evo:

Compare that with this:

Nice case man, looks alot like my Lian Li Tyr X2000-B Great choice man! It deserves a blue ribbo so do them other Lian Li's posted in this thread

Man there,s some Dam fine rigs on this thread ,makes me almost not want to post up.But I might as well I see no Sails in the thread yet.Well the other half said no to the water. The HX 1000 cooked on my HAF 932 and sense I would have to rewire for a psu upgrade,I went ahead and put the 1366 in the PC-888:) I,ll post some Pics when I get the new lighting installed and a couple of mods left to tweak. For now there,s a couple of pics on the Mods Rig Link.

Hehe feel free to post pics of that rig here man, that is what this thread is all about

As for the builds, yeah they all are spectacular , I am a Lian Li fan myself, always loved their high quality cases, you pay a lot for them but you do get what you pay for, Lian Li just has some very nice idea's, not all Lian Li's are nice though but , I have always found the case I needed for any  type of build, Lian Li was also the world's first case builder that came with Aluminum cases, this made them famous actually

As for your PC-888 I also looked in to that case , it reminds me of the 7 Star Hotel the Burj Al Arab in Dubai:

And from the front view at night with blue lighting which Lian Li also used for their PC-888:

And here the Lian Li PC-888

And If I had this case I would call my system Burj Al Arab also, because it inspires the looks of that 7 Star hotel

And here a sweet close up of the two CPU coolers which took me more than 4 hours to get in that position, the second HSR was a true PITA

Re:Lian Li Gallery of your systems, no matter what Lian Li You Have EVGA People! 2011/10/17 12:31:56 (permalink)
Neat build, but the lack of led fans nah would never be my taste, it lacks color, that way it's parts don't stand out, but that's my opion of it, for the rest, it's quite a beasty setup

As for my setup it's very quiet, you don't need water cooling to create a quiet system, them noisy water pumps at times, no thx.

If I'd go for water cooling, it would be EK or Danger Den based.

Although I don't fancy water cooled setups , they require to much time and work to get them setup, even if you are a VGA card collector and tester which I am, a water cooled setup has no good function here, air cooling is more to the point and it works fine like wise, which makes it easier for me a switch a card.

This way we all have our different likes and tastes for things, there is one thing we all may have in common though:

We all wait for Battlefield 3 & StarWars: The Old Republic

/shrug, I grew out of the whole bling thing when i was 15, I use to think cathodes were the coolest but when it comes down to it that you are usually the only person to see your system it is awfully silly. Again just my opinion.

Re:Lian Li Gallery of your systems, no matter what Lian Li You Have EVGA People! 2011/10/18 07:18:45 (permalink)
Well I am not the only one that does it, for me it's a secondary function, they act as a light function, always handy, this way I will never need to use more light source to produce me more light when I type and such.

As for colored lighting I prefer blue, since it gives me a comfortable background also, it gives my systems a neater and better look than some boring system without a light and all, but since you have no window it's 200% obvious you don't use or need lighting in them in the first place, everything I build in my systems has an important function and that goes for the hardware as the lighting,as for my age I am 34, I hope you don't have a problem with that, it's that most normal people simply don't have a problem with that

Really, when it comes to PC/Workstation/Server building it comes to perfection and without lights it's not complete for me, thus not perfect.

Due to my autism I have an own way of building and it only improves per detail per build, as your quote of me being the only one here that has lights and leds in a case, please if you are willing to look at the previous posts on the previous pages, there you will clearly see that there are more case modded builds in this topic that have lighting like mine, so as a fact it's the other way around man

My rule for building workstations, Servers & PC's has a simple rule that says it all:
If things don't have a purpose, they won't be added, if they do, they will be added, simple and plain

But hey we all have different tastes as PC building goes, I do adore the Lian Li you chose though, are those case wheels from Aluminum also and do they have rubber padded wheels?

Re:Lian Li Gallery of your systems, no matter what Lian Li You Have EVGA People! 2013/08/10 01:20:09 (permalink)
Hay nice man, I am working on anew build also even that progress is kinda slow, it's for Project G34 a system I shall name Valkyrie SMP 2013, which you can see here:
http://forums.evga.com/fb.ashx?m=1993057

The Motherboard I will reobtain hopefully this month, when I have mounted it in the case I will make some new pics, then I just need a HD 6990, some ram and the CPU's cooler to get it all up and running, it should give you this idea:

I plan to run the HD 6990 as main VGA and use the EVGA GTX 480 as dedicated CUDA & PhysX card with the help of GenL PhysX hack, which is this program:
http://physxinfo.com/news/?s=GenL

I can also emulate CUDA  with the HD 6990 via OpenCL 1.2 which I can do with this handy fix:
http://www.techpowerup.co...ator-for-every-pc.html

Anyways there are plenty project I want to support with my new system.

Here some shots of the case from the front angled view:

And from the side:

These pics are old, but it will look like this once the mobo and the 6990 are here
The CPU's just arrived 3 days ago:
http://forums.evga.com/fb.ashx?m=1994942

But yeah I only need the Mobo ram and CPU coolers for a first boot, I have plenty of VGA cards here to test it on first boot, but when the HD 6990 arrives I can finally start the real work with it.

Hey I can join the club with my M-ATX X79 build

That's a very nice setup you have there. Very nice job.

@GL, The G34 setup looks good. I've thought about doing a dual or quad G34 build, but the cost of motherboards absolutely kills me. You can get some killer deals on 12 and 16 core CPU's on Ebay now.

Here's my first and only Li so far:

PC-Q07B ITX form factor

The mods for airflow:

The system:
Z77 Stinger
Dominator DDR3 2000MHz
Antec 620
2600k
EVGA 650Ti
EVGA Nex650 Gold PSU

Nice little Lian Li setup there Zophar You could even try getting one of them ASUS GTX 670's and replace the 650 Ti if ever needed, as that ASUS made the world's shortest GTX 670 that is air cooled too:

Well I got my two 8 Core OpteronMP 6140 D1's for 127 USD incl shipping from a goo friend from 2CPU.com :P
Not even ebay can beat that, 16 cores @ 2.6Ghz for just 127USD incl Shipping from USA to NL even no custom taxes either

I got 16 cores @ 2.6Ghz even cheaper than the cheapest Core i3 rofl xD That saved me lots of money in the long run
