Hi, in the spec of the new laptop it show HDMI 1.4 ? it's a GTX980 so it should be a HDMI 2.0 ??

    Welcome to the forums!
     
    I can confirm that the SC17 offers a HDMI 1.4 connector which supports up to 1080p resolution through the on board Intel graphics processor.  It also has two mini display ports that can adapt to HDMI 2.0 if preferred and they are controlled by the Nvidia graphics card.

    ok now i understand thanks
    so if i connect the laptop to a 4K tv, i will need an adapter --> "display port to hdmi" so it can connect to the 4K tv, right?

    Yes, but you want to make sure that you do use a Active adapter.
