Kingpin seems to have set a record for x99 single GPU score on firestrike. This hopefully is the quality board we will be seeing from EVGA! I do find it interesting that it says 16 cores, which means hyper threading is turned on. http://www.3dmark.com/hal...eset/version+1.1/1+gpu

Way to go Vince, and He accomplished that with an EVGA X99 FTW Motherboard!!  Now put All Four KPE's on the EVGA X99 FTW and Go For It..........

The Link You are showing is Incorrect,,,,,,It is NOT for an X99, It is For an X79 using a 4960X CPU.

fixed links, weird. Anywayas the picture says Model: 150-HE-E997, which is a FTW board, http://www.evga.com/Products/ProductList.aspx?type=1&family=Motherboard+Family&chipset=Intel+X99. But on the eVGA facebook page it says "K|NGP|N doing what he does on EVGA X99 platform! X99 CLASSIFIED first blood, so 19k+ at 2050mhz on KPTi?"

Don't know Why, But evidently he posted the wrong Benchmark Pic, It Should show this one.....  Very Impressive..........5.731GHz on the 5960X and 1959MHz on the 780 Ti KPE!

Are the haswell e soldered or do they have the poop paste under the lid. I've been hearing they are soldered. Just curious.

So, with 8 cores, he pushed this chip to almost the same level as someone running 2 cores without hyperthreading... I love watching K|ngp|n own! This just makes me want to try LN2/DICE even more now.

I don't think that he used the FTW, I saw few days ago a picture about the Classified that he received from EVGA. The cause is probably a mismatching information in his sample of the motherboard, this is what I suppose.
