Support didn't really have an answer to this and suggested I post my problem on the forum.
Whenever I try to activate KBoost in PrecisionX OC, I get a message to close the following 3D applications then try again. The problem is, the applications it's asking me to close aren't 3D and I really have no way to close them.
The programs it wants me to close are ns.exe (Norton Security) and digidata.host.exe (this is part of Cox Cloud backup). I sometimes see iexplore.exe and other browser exe files but these are present only after using the browser and do go away. I can temporarily disable NS and sign out of the Cox cloud, but this doesn't help.
I'm using an EVGA GTX1080 in Win 10 Home 64bit.
I am not sure why this isn't seen as a bug by EVGA. Their only response was KBoost is very restrictive in its use. Any ideas would be appreciated.
