this will sound a bit strange i know but... i am not overclocking my FTW it's boosting to 2025 24\7 with low temps and i get amazing FPS in all games i play at 1440P \60Hz.
i don't see any point overclocking because it's not lacking in power at this moment.

if your using a 60hz panel you cant see any benefit over 60fps anyway. So thats perfect. looks like you can likely turn all settings to ultra

I do or I wouldnt have done the builds I have. I could just as easily stuff all the hardware in a case and not spend any time doing cable management and get similar performance. MY case sits on my desk and is part of the whole room asthetic and the case is massive and hard to miss. I like to show pride in both my passion for gaming and computing. having the setup looks nice makes me appreciate the things i have spent my hard earned money on more. I wash my car and take of my yard too and get no performance from those tasks. http://ragevirusqq.imgur.com/

I know people like that I don't have to look far, even my own relatives and  not to place a judgment, but they just  don't  seem to really care and when things falling apart to the point of no repair they ether  cry and asking for help or they get new item(s) and unfortunately they are  the ones that are always broke all their life's because that how they are with everything else.

I'm not seeing how your family has any relevance to this thread.

chatserv, what was the result of the correspondence with EVGA?
is there any solution to this issue?

this seems to be a weak spot not only on the 1080's.

I would like to know what happened with this as well. I just got a 1080 that seems to be a pretty good card. However, I have the same issue with this sticker, and in my eyes it isn't acceptable on a $650 GPU. I am curious what EVGA did with it because I don't necessarily want to get a different card, but I would like them to fix the sticker.

I had this same issue with my first 1080.

After waiting so long to get this card, RMAing it for a cosmetics issue was not very appealing.

I managed to fix it, myself, was pretty simple.
Use a bit of sticky tape to carefully pull back the plastic logo thing. If you pull it back too much, you'll bend the plastic and just make it worse. Then, using something thin (a doubled over strip of aluminum foil is good), apply a very (very) tiny amount of a strong adhesive to the corner. Then of course apply pressure until the glue has dried.

If you're careful and do it correctly, you won't have any glue residue and the logo will stay stuck down.
