I could so get in the top 5 if i went water... but meh.... that or I get a better gpu that ocs better on air.

Is that for the 950 or 970? That's pretty good for the 950, decent for the 970, I run around 4400Mhz for GPU testing with 1.33Vcore. (Cherry i7 960) 4000Mhz is more like 1.2ish.

Too lazy. If I was gonna take the time to do that I'd do it at 4500Mhz plus so that I have top spot. I can't get vantage stable, which is really all I care about lol. I think its limited by my board or cooling.. But that's off topic lol.. You can check my posts about it in the Get It Colder thread. (Probably spread through the latest 5 or 10 pages.. are my complaints.)

Just hit 4.4ghz but at 1.4v, 4.3ghz is 1.38v, 4.2ghz is 1.26v, I think I can get 4.5-4.6ghz but I am not going to kill this chip trying. Still fighting with the 580... =/ not a great ocer...still awesome not super awesome... holding me back...

Just made it to 6th place... I think I am pretty gpu limited atm I could try to oc more but yeah... not sure if its worth possibly blowing up a gem cpu... gpu is at max with air overclock with air.....

I will try to push my benches harder later but think my psu is going out or getting too hot... will clean it later tonight. Still after a second GTX 580 BO that I consider resonably priced.

If you don't want to mod you will have to get an Asus mobo. I had to use a dremmel in mine so the separator would fit with the EVGA board. I find having it on helps keep temps down.
