Anyone else have install issues with the new 3DMark-v2
I get this when I try to install it.

    You have to set your account as shown below restart the computer and then install, A Poor Installer in my Book.

    1st thing I do is disable UAC since Vista, 10 is no exception. Recently on 3 different Windows 10 machines (Clean Install) I've installed 3Dmark ver 2.0.2530 none of those machines threw up an error with install but I'm glad you got it sorted. I download paid version from Steam and use Steam's installer maybe that's the difference. I also bought and installed PCmark 8 (80% off Steam summer sale) and no issues there either.

    Yes I like PCmark 8 quit a bit more than 7. Of course it's based on testing Windows 8 vs 7 but beyond that there is a ton more detail to the results, more test, which are a bit more real world and the granularity of the of the UI in app and on line is way more refined. I paid 25 bucks for PCM7 and 9 for PCM8 and I feel ripped off for 7. New features, including tests for battery life and tests using select applications from Adobe and Microsoft. PCM8 now gives the scores for each specific benchmark. Of course I'm just beginning to use it so I have a lot to explore/learn but this actually appears to be a useful benchmark. The ability to run individual test affords us an opportunity to fine tune and tweak our systems and the online interface even provides a log to assist us with the process. It stops short of given you tips and tweaks but definitely points you in the right direction. I suppose as an individual you really don't need the paid version however I prefer to support there fine efforts and frankly I don't know what the free version does or does not have. Bottom Line PCM8 advanced is polished and the Steam sale is a steel.

    I got it to update but now it won't run unless I start it as 'Administrator'. No big deal, I rarely use it anymore anyway.

Me thinks the problem lies elsewhere.
