Hi guys,
I have an issue while gaming. Sometimes my screen goes black and i hear weird sounds and my pc just shuts down and restart. I dont know where this is coming from and need your help! This usually happens while sometimes playing H1Z1. But i recently also caught it happen during CS:go. The screen went grey to black for a few seconds and then it stopped. I also dont know why this is happening. REALLY NEED YOUR HELP! Thanks in advance guys!

It sounds like a TDR driver crash. Is your video board overclocked at all? Which drivers are you using and which version of Windows? Has this just started recently?

Uhm if u mean if i have my card overclocked i have not. Im using the 361.75 driver and my version of windows is windows 7 ultimate 64 bit. It started once during cs go , but my pc didnt shutdown, it only shuts down when i play h1z1. Thanks for the reply btw.

I am using 368.39 right now and it seems stable for the games I am playing. Some games have know issues with crashing so try different drivers or check the game's forum for other players with similar problems. Scarlet-Tech would be the CSGO expert here as he plays that one frquently. There may be members here that play h1z1 too but I'm just not one of them.

When you install the latest drivers, we recommend that first you remove the current drivers using a program called Display Driver Uninstaller (DDU), it is a free download you can find online. When you open this program you will be given launch options, select the option to restart into Windows Safe Mode, then the program will auto-open in Safe Mode, do clean and restart, then when the computer boots back into Windows, download and install the latest drivers.

I'd try the basic troubleshooting steps stickied to the top of this forum - http://forums.evga.com/Ba...mode-etc-m2451023.aspx If those steps do not work (and I mean all of them) then it will likely be a power issue where your PSU isn't delivering consistent power and crashing your system. Testing the video card in another system or with a different PSU, or at a computer repair shop, will narrow it down.

I tried that for the first time yesterday and do you know what I got? The nVidia software is still in my Control Panel and I can't remove it manually because some file is now missing. I will try Driver Sweeper as soon as I get this upgrade finished for my nephew and if that doesn't work I guess I'll be stuck manually editting my Registry and deleting Folders.

can you provide your system's hardware, windows version and NVIDIA driver you are currently using? Could be a number of things...

I had been looking around for others with h1z1 probelms and most have success by using the frame rate limiter and capping the FPS at 80 or below. Just a thought.
