Well I finally got my block in from EK yesterday so the card has only had 4-5hrs up time on it. I'm sitting here on Firefox trying to find 21:9 EVGA wallpapers and the browser keeps randomly doing this:

The screen will flash and this is what it comes back to. I can alt-tab to something else that is open or show the desktop with no issue. Sometimes when I revert back to Firefox it's still like the above. Other times the actual browser is back but I can't type anything and I have to close Firefox. This wasn't an issue prior to changing over from my 290X so the only thing that has changed is the new gpu and drivers for it.

Has anyone else experienced this?
Newest drivers are installed. 6700K 32GB G.Skill 3200mhz on water with a cool idle of 35C.

Try turning off hardware acceleration in Firefox: http://www.askvg.com/how-to-disable-hardware-acceleration-gpu-rendering-in-mozilla-firefox-4-0-to-fix-font-problem/

That appears to have corrected the problem. Thank god lol. Thought I was going to be rmaing a card or something. Will update if it continues/starts again.

Yeah, I think it is more of a driver issue that is sometimes fixed and then broken with new drivers.

Glad that seems to have fixed it, and hopefully it will remain fixed for you!

Got rendering issues on the 1080 FTW in firefox as well, randomly colored squares appearing all over just in firefox and they tend to move around when scrolling. Happens quite rarely but I have never seen this happen before I got this card...
