I recently purchased the 980TI FTW card and I'm wondering if I can purchase the VR-Ready front plate separately?

The standard 980Ti doesn't have the necessary connector to plug into. So, I don't know how you plan to connect it to your card even if you could buy it separately.

    Hello,

unfortunately we do not sell the front panel VR seperate from the VR cards. The VR cards are specially designed to have an internal HDMI to work with the VR front panel. THe panel would not work with a normal GTX card.

I don't want to come off being rude, but suggesting that you just get a longer HDMI extender and bring it to the front of your PC.

if your graphics card only has 1 HDMI out, you will need to get a HDMi-Displayport cable

And, let me guess... they don't include that with their device which you purchased for over $600?
