Seems like every day or every other day Win 10 asks me to restart the PC to finish setting up the Cumulative Updates for Version 1607.

There should be about five KB's for that update. Check to see if one is failing and attempting to retry. - Click the Action Centre (lower left, looks like a thought bubble) - Look at the bottom where the square are: Expand if necessary, click All Settings - Click Update & Security (last option) - Below the Check for Updates button, click Update History - Identify if there are any updates recently which have failed, post a screenshot if necessary

Everything was successfully installed. Many KB updates. Guessing there was just a lot of updates this month. Thanks. I'm good now. =)

Yes, a few, but only one that came out this month. It just depends how recently you installed Windows 10. My mistake, only three. Cumulative Update for Windows 10 Version 1607 for x64-based Systems (three for W10 Home): KB3189866 KB3176934 KB3176495

I'm on Fast-ring Insider builds. I don't see the Cumulative Updates, I get a whole new "Hi. We've Updated Your PC..." every couple weeks. At least they fixed the issue that killed the wifi, and some Marvell RAID controllers.

This is the Number One Failure on this OS, it is no longer and install and run for 365 7x24 anymore. This is why Windows 7 and even 8.1 now that I am on Server 2012R2 I can set them and come back in a year and this OS will Keep On Ticking.

This was / is a problem with ALL PCs running Win 7. There was a fix or a Regedit change... heck it may have been delete a program that MS downloaded you had to remove and any/all of above. A diligent search of internet or MS forms should find a solution.

The OP stated there weren't any issues installing any Cumulative updates. To conclude, the OP is solved.

This is correct. At first just was wondering why it updated so much. It wasn't as many as I thought, but a half dozen too many. ;)

Some advantage to delay any Win 10 updates and require user to select reboots. Just keep your security software updated. This will minimize the number of reboots

Look all, I had the problem on Win 7 x64 for months when Window 10 was released. Then I found a solution, which I do not remember, but have not had a single popup of that app. It was always coming up and could not be End Task or anything, only solution was to reboot and hope it did not appear again for a day or 2 ....
