I absolutely cannot stand or tolerate virtually any coil whine whatsoever. It just cuts right through me and the rest of my PC is virtually silent so any extra noise is heard easily. So, does EVGA's warranty cover coil whine?

PNY, at least several generations ago, did not and their sophomoric, immature handling of the situation absolutely made me swear them off until I die. While EVGA not covering coil whine won't make me swear them off I certainly want to know ahead of time if I can expect any support for it since there are a lot reports, relatively speaking, of EVGA's 10 series cards having coil whine.

Even if it's only .0001% of a chance, IF it happens, will EVGA offer a replacement for any card with coil whine with the exact same Day 1 retail warranty? Nothing like having to replace a card week 1 and having an inferior warranty afterwards.

As for the warranty, the warranty continues where the original card left off.

The nice thing is that you can extend the 3 year warranty to 5 or 10 years when you register your card, which also follows to the replacement card at the remaining warranty period of the original.

Doesn't matter if it is 1 replacement or 15.

Edit: and you probably know, but coil whine can be induced in a GPU by the PSU. Usually only with old or low quality PSUs.

If you feel like tweeking a bit to try and get rid of the whine, using a OC tool to adjust the voltage may help.

Here is a link which talks about whine and possible solutions.

A possible solution that was reported to work else where is simply: "power settings on windows and turned it from "High Performance" to "power Saving" "
