Intel is allegedly back to playing dirty in a deliberate attempt to cut AMD and its Ryzen CPUs out of the market.  Reports alleged that Intel PR is gearing up for a response to Ryzen. With some reports claiming that Intel personnel may have even approached some customers with “incentive rebates” and other special promotions to exclusively use Intel chips. In some cases allegedly urging them to make big buying decisions before they could evaluate competing AMD products.

Looks like Intel could be up to it's old tricks again with back room deals to keep AMD from gaining market share.

Modern capitalism has nothing at all to do with fair competition!  I wish it weren't so, but that's the way it is.

    [UPDATED – Feb 26 2017 7:16 PM ET]

The editors-in-chief of two of America’s top PC hardware and technology publications have confirmed to Wccftech that they have indeed been approached by Intel regarding upcoming Ryzen reviews, although both said that it was business as usual. Affirming that Intel’s response following AMD’s Ryzen announcement was what they had expected it to be, they added that nothing was particularly unusual about the emails they received from Intel.

That's a drop in the bucket to intel.

Again? They never stopped. My favorite in recent memory was selling Atom CPU + chipset for less than the Atom CPU alone when they launched the Atoms: http://www.trustedreviews.com/news/nVidia-Intel-Atom-Pricing-Pretty-Unfair-
Clearly abusing monopoly status in the CPU market to gain chipset business.

That they paid out in what was it 2010? It's a rule you use unfair bussiness practicies by the time the case is settled it no longer matters

This is not possible to change... No one can't change nothing when results are so good.
I can't believe than 4th CPU on AMD list, R5 worth as Intel Kaby Lake i5 is stronger than last year champion i7-5960X.
Damn they fast and this would be excellent build.
How someone could change this except to destroy own reputation because customers will have even better results, I always had little better results than reviews when everything build nicely, optimize, install Windows 10 and fastest memory possible... anyone who try something will lost reputation and customers will report than Ryzen is even better.

This will be very very long 7 months before Skylake Extreme show up.
AMD will sell platforms, they will not be able to produce enough in first months.

Missing the point, intel has played dirty before and could again.
