I probably would have kept my predicted points closer then what they were if I didnt notice how hard one of our team members were working to keep us in the race. Then i took a look at all the other teams and as said by Troy, seems like A LOT of them misrepresented what they were going to put out giving them an edge. So I figured what the heck. And fired up every computer in my house and come tomorrow I will continue that so we can try to keep up in atleast 2nd since over shooting your prediction is not being frowned upon and penalized anymore.

By the way, can anyone tell me how come my CPU Folding is not showing a PPD number? It is running project 7200, Points are unknown, 16% is complete, and PPD is blank?

Well.. i am not saying that people was meant to keep ;).. 1. i was just very lucky to hit that exact number (12.0) 2. i love that people , and especially Werty and the other teammates are working like maniacs to keep us in second place! :) Myself, I only have 1 rig, which offers a 2500k and a GTS 450 :).. so i can make like 25k PPD, but i am a gamer too in my spare time, so i usually take a break around 6 pm to around 12 pm :).. but i manage to keep up with my points, and even though i started the 5th instead of the 1st and had to build up bonus points (first time folder almost), i still managed to catch up with my projected ppd :)..

If you haven't completed one of those WUs yet, you have to pass like 20% or more of it before the FAH can calculate your PPD. Just wait. It still produces. It just don't know how good it is at this particular WU yet. Just have patience. :D EDIT: WU 7200 is not a "real" WU.. it is kinda bugged.

Also. My dad just upgraded his GPU to a 560 and before he installs he he let me test out SLI just for giggles. I am running it now and it seems pretty awesome. How ever I went to fold with this set up and my video card, the top one, reached 97C. So I instantly stopped folding. Took his card out and about to get to folding after I game a bit. I am just curious to know why the heck my top card got so hot? I plan to put in a physx card, the 450 my dad has been using that is his friends. But I do not want to use it if my primary graphics card is going to burn up? My card is an EVGA Gtx 560SC(Non TI) I tried to SLI with a Galaxy 560(Non TI) I want to run my 560 and a 450 jusst for folding purposes until we need to give back the 450. Any ideas? Fan profile was set and I had fan set to run at like 70 percent.

-advmethods selects a different work unit set, not exactly beta units, but units that have yet to be released into the public pool. As such, they may behave differently than others (temps, cpu usage, OC tolerance).

Can anyone tell me why when i run two different cards my top card runs so much more hotter then normal? Is it because I am getting hot air for the intake fan? If so would putting 1 or 2 120MM fans on the PSU blowing onto the side of the cards help?

Any fan blowing air between the cards will help get air to the GPUs so they run cooler. My CPU runs hotter when my GPU is blowing hot air.

We are having an unexpected snowfall, causing quite a few downed branches, but so far the power has remained on. Still snowing though, so don't know if that will continue. I will have stuff back on as soon as possible if there is an outage. At least I don't have to worry about AC's, I can just open the window.

How can I get my 2 cards to run relatively cool folding on them both. The top card wants to run like 90 - 100C =/. I got three fans blowing air directly onto them. 2 on the side of the cards and one blowing through the cards helping heat exit the back area. I am concerned with trying to fold with both cards for one isn't even mine. Any ideas on what I can do to make my temps lower? I am using a Cooler Master Haf 912 and at the moment I am running 2 560's(Non TI) in SLI config. Is there a way in the settings I can make them run cooler?

Ok not sure what happened here but I am running a lot cooler.. Looks like my temps are better with out the fans pushing air from the side.

Sometimes it's trial and error, Maybe the fans pushing air from the side was pushing the already hot air against them. I've got one fan at the bottom front and top back and unless it's an exceptionally hot day my GPU is 65 - 66C fan at 50%. After the contest is over Im getting an upgrade, part of it is going to be a 2nd GTS 450. Then I'll talk about temps again possible they'll got up. My case is a Thermaltake Dokker so I'll see how good it is with ventilation once 2 GPUs are in. Now onto the race first Elimination Round has begun, we're on against Fast and Furious Folders, Fold on Team! let's show 'em Insanity reigns! Have you looked at your own team's statistics before you complain about fairness? Why would you complain about one person adding one HP cloud account, when your teammate went from roughly 7 to 12 HP cloud accounts in the middle of the contest? There is no other team that has a chance against yours with one member producing 700 more contest points per day than estimated.

- "Adding additional hardware that you own (especially if you will fold on it full time) is permitted and encouraged."
it is a matter of setting some ground rules that has to be followed..
