Nice goin who ever set the teams up for the next challenge! Started us out 388,617.93 in the whole for this last challenge. Not to worry just meet your reported PPD and we should get back on top quickly. I hope. Work em hard we can do this.

Burps like that happen, it's just things not syncing up when the guys move to the next round, often all the 'stats' sites don't sync up. A burp like that doesn't mean anyone has to fold any less and claim a winner. As they say 'It ain't over til the fat lady sings'...
Or in this case Harley Quinn and the Joker blow up something, when the final hour has ended.

Wrong you can't change the rules in the middle of the game.
The previous two rounds everyone started off even at zero points.
But not this round the most important round of all?
This round was started off with a unfair advantage for many teams
because the points were not zeroed out like previous challenges.
I can now see why this contest had so much trouble in recent years with mad and upset people.
If this is the way things are done you will not see me in this next year for sure.

#1 - Troy and I are simple human beings requiring things like sleep and time to ourselves/with our families. This means that - #2 - We don't live in a perfect world where the points will be automatically reset EVERY time we change from one stage to another. Which is why I do things like - 3# - Provide an online and now publicly available set of the stats so that A) Troy can go back and grab the stats he needs for retroactive resets and B) folks like you can also go back and verify that there's nothing hokey going on. Those stats are here - https://docs.google.com/s...3eTRlZ2J6Z0hGNXc#gid=2 So, what you saw in stead of 'zero' was the stats get reset at mid morning because Troy undoubtedly had to SLEEP during the midnight transition, so he reset the stats in mid flow, pulled the 'zero point' set of stats from my chart and the first set of points posted were the next hourly update - Something like 10am EST, if I remember correctly. 10 hours of updates to get tossed out at once. So, yes, you are 'correct' in that you never saw the stats reach 0. However, if you think this is an entire cluster-eff, you might want to grab the stats I've provided, get the formula that troy8d is using to crunch the numbers and recreate the situation if you are that concerned about it. Also, there was no change in the rules mid stream. It was stated, several times, that on the dates that the new rounds start, the initialization point is at midnight. Again, with a retroactive reset of the points, several hours were posted in one go, to represent the points that had been pulled from Midnight on the day of the start. Myself, I've been working with troy8d for several contests over a couple of years and there is NO reason to doubt that the points are accurate. Take it as you will. d

Only a 275K gap right now between our two teams. The F&F Team was at least that far behind the Fanatics (several times) in the last 'round. This 'thang is far from over you nutcases!  It just ain't no fun doing this last week without every one of you running around doing your insane amount of Folding. I was soooo hoping that we'd be racing your team in the final round and love every insane minute of it. So, pull your undies up tight, put those tin-foil hats back on, kiss the nurse, take your meds and let's see what ya got!

Well the rules do not state a time of when these will be reset and are very unclear about many points of change while the contest is on going. People can't read each and every post that are made while this contest is on going to find answers that should be placed in the rules. Had that info been in the rules I would not have shut down half my rigs at midnight waiting for the next round to began. Normally I don't shut anything down, but here it was very hot those last couple days of the 2nd round. So I shut down a few rigs to let things cool down in the shop before the next round started thinking everyone would start at a even start out of the gate after the announcement was made of what teams would compete agents one another. Actually those shouldn't be reset back to zero until after that announcement on what teams will be competing with one another. And this is what most would think without it being stated clearly in the rules. These things need to be noted in the rules, not in some thread that someone might not see.

- There are just over 24 hours left in the first head to head round before the finals begin tomorrow at midnight (Eastern US).

- The round will end midnight (Eastern Time Zone) on Saturday 3/23/13.

Time Table Updated:
- The current round to determine seeds will end 11:59 PM Friday 3/15/13 (Eastern Time US), with the first head to head playoff round beginning immediately thereafter.
- The first head to head playoff round will run 3/16/13 through 11:59 PM Saturday 3/23/13.
- The second head to head playoff round will run 3/24/13 through 11:59 PM Sunday 3/31/13.
Now, since all of this could be found in a single location, in a single post and on a single page, even, are you still going to continue to complain about the 'rules'? It took me all of 45 seconds to find those references to the times.

Let me say this and this will be the end of it - If you feel there needs to be clarifications to the rules as they exist, write up what you feel needs to be changed, WHY it needs to be changed, HOW it should be changed and submit that to troy8d and your team captain(s).
Any further argument on the subject just distracts from the contest, overall.

Hey guys. I really like both of you and think a whole lot of what you both do for our team. Can I recommend that we put this particular issue aside (just for now) and work on it after the contest? Ya gotta think about your team members right now who have put a lot into this month and are sticking together to the finish line. Every team is here to have fun and compete and we've all burned a bunch of watts pullin' together this month. We've done some righteous Folding too! I beg of you as a fellow Folder, who respects and admires you both, to just cool off and let this lay for now. We can always work on making the contest better for next year and work together to make that happen right?

 Oh I'm definitely on the right team, why oh why when I was so sick at the beginning of this contest did I take the time to crawl into my chair to PM this one and request they stay, Not that they bothered to tell the TEAM CAPTAIN they wanted to pull out no they tell another Captain of another team who graciously PMed me. Please keep everything on the positive. This has been one fantastic month of what this team used to be all about. Good nature, teamwork and crushing the competition into little "WU's"...
Any personal challenges need to stay in PM's or off the forum. And jokes that could be viewed as "Adult" talk... Not needed or allowed here.
We all know and agree to the TOS and need to respect the intent of that TOS. Staying clear of it. You all can read between the lines with what I just wrote. As much as many of us can with some of the "Back and forths" in some of our threads...
