I didn't go, But I was following everything on Instagram, 6 of my friends went, Including Demonik5150. Demonik was affected, I don't know if he wants to tell you guys what happened, But I'll let him tell it. This was being planned for like 3 weeks, To shut down 3 different freeways at the same time, But the cops were already on it... Over 100 CHP and sheriffs officers arrived within minutes of each location being posted. Shots rang, Car crashes, etc.... P.S. the Silver Camaro is @Teemager and the red corvette is @CeejayTheGreat Those guys are best of the best at the takeovers yo!

If Demonik5150 doesn't want us knowing, don't you think it would be best to not even mention it at all? I mean, all you are doing is making people want to interrogate him.
People need to stop being stupid. Glad you didn't go, because who thinks it is a good idea to try to shut down a freeway? Anyone that thought that was smart is obviously probably deserves to walk everywhere for the foreseeable future.

Idiots doing idiot things because they are idiots. Now, I've taken my part in many a stoplight du gran prix. My car makes well over 2x the power (at all 4 wheels) it came with and is all sorts of illegal. I even, admittedly, regularly attended "organized" strert races which took place out in abandoned industrial areas (in LB no less) when I was younger. That said, the people who do stupid things like try to shut down major roadways so they can race each other en masse need to have their vehicles crushed into paperweights. I'd be in a murderous rage if I was stuck in traffic due to something as asinine as that, especially if I had my kid in the car... reminds me of the poor family that got terrorized and the father beaten when they tried to go through a pack of motorcyclists pulling something similar on a freeway back east. This disgusts me.

It's not a nice thing that you and your hoodlum friends are involved in.  Poor decisions deserve poor outcomes. Hopefully, all the outcomes will only affect you and your friends. Hopefully there will never been any collateral damage to the general public before your actions are put to a stop. I will give you all the respect you deserve if you keep it off the street. But when you do this sort of thing on a public street, you deserve no respect.

It has happened before, It's all good man! Everyone there is THERE AT THEIR OWN WILL AND ARE FREE TO GO HOME. No one will go home though, Because it's fun to "just watch" while doing "High Speed Circles" the crowd gets close, But backs off if the car gets closer and as a driver, We watch out for which way we're headed as to not hit anyone in the crowd or the many vehicles parked there. And when I do it, I do it until I have no tires left yo!

First of all, these are pathetic dyno numbers the both of you are talking about. This truly is akin to the two slowest kids in PE class arguing about who is quicker in a sprint, and its pretty much laughable. Secondly, shutting down puiblic roadways puts a lot more people in danger than just the idiots participating. In what universe is it even close to being acceptable to block a major thoroughfare on which vehicles such as FIRETRUCKS, AMBULANCES, and other first responders travel on 24/7? Slow people with slow cars. What is this forum coming to?

It's funny, blocking a member does not block communication on mobile. Anyway, say I took my gun and stopped a bank from being able to be used so I could do a turkey shoot out front. Pretty stupid, right? Show me a post where people are taking guns and blocking off roadways so they can be stupid. Please. Just one. Posting about cars is fine. I said illegal activities. Blocking off roadways, causing police to have to raid and impound cars, drunk driving and trafficking drugs is much different than talking about cars and upgrades, or guns and upgrades. Sadly it's the wrong attention. I'm not sure who gets impressed by (very) sub 300RWHP dynos, and idiots getting arrested... but I assure you, it's not this car guy. If anything it makes this entire debacle even more pathetic, IMO. Who buys a V6 pony car anyway? This is sad and confusing in every respect.

You can switch it from the mobile to the full mode on mobile, blocks should work then. Wish they could make blocks work with quotes from the blocked member. Not surprised at all he thinks this is cool and ok...just a bunch of morons being morons.

The context of your OP as well as your subsequent replies doesn't leave much ambiguity as to your position on this. As for adding the little blurb about not going" because of the freeways" after catching a landslide of public backlash... I believe that falls under the "too little too late" category. (edit) OT digression: I suppose if my car was that slow, I'd also want to keep it to the streets instead of having people publicly view my ET and trap speed at a legitimate track.
