A discussion a few friends and I were having. If you could have any car, what would it be? This car would be free, repairs would be free, gas would be free. You CANNOT sell it, please list any mods (if any) and the year.

For me, 1969 Mustang Fastback, Black. It's my dream car and I hope to at least drive one before I die.

I would take either a Mustang or a Mercedes. Actually, I would be happy to have both.    :)

    Its a toss up.

    Either a

    1965 Aston Martin DB5

    or

    A brand new Aston Martin.

The old one would be cool, but I would actually be able to drive the new one without feeling like I am ruining it.

Edit: I just rewatched Gran Torino and that car is awesome. I cant believe I forgot about it.

Audi R8, fast, powerful, well built, easy to drive, comfortable. I might like a Ford GT more but as a everyday car it would be terrible.  Then again a high range BMW M car would be fine as well, though it would be more based around comfort/useability than performance/driving experience

Wait year? And the Ford GT is an amazing car. The Audi just isn't my style, it's not a bad car by any stretch of the imagination, just, not my style.

Hmmmmm....My choices would be this BMW M6 Coupe 12/13

A '69 Chevy Camaro exactly like this one *too many mods to list*

And this is what im actually getting
2008 Ford Mustang GT but if i find a better price on a 2010 and lower year i might consider
5.4L V8 "this is what im told it has" but from what i know it should be 4.6L V8 24V MPFI SOHC  - plan to mod
5-Speed Manual - plan to mod
    Corsa Cat Back Exhuast
    Supercharger/Twin Turbo
and many more mods i will be adding 600HP+/Street legal

These are my dream cars....But if i have to choose just one then the M6

Tough choice, but probably the Aston Martin V12 Zagato.  Limited edition from 2012.

One thing is certain though; I'd choose a modern Aston Martin.  Either that, the One-77, the last DBS, or the V8 Vantage S coupe.

Look at my dream car... Most of the best cars in history are 'old school'. Most cars nowadays don't have any raw power, it's just computers and fancy system to make them go faster. In my opinion, a car with no character is a pointless car. A car with character, now that, is a car.

That will change very soon. Also comparing a non production highly tuned vehicle to full leather interior cars is just dumb. The new P1, LaFerrari and 918 should do very well on the nurburgring

I'm talking about the production Viper ACR, not the ACR-X (despite the picture being the ACR X). It is a 100% production car, available to anyone that walks into a dealership and pays the cash for it, and it is 100% street legal. And it still holds the Nurburgring production record in terms of mass produced vehicles (if you don't count the Gumpert Apollo and the Radicals).

    I'd want two really.

I'd want one to be a Lotus Exige S Roadster, but I'd want the hard top convertible kind. This would be my mess around car, mod it, drive around, that sort of thing. I'd want custom lighting and speakers and such, gotta have a decent subwoofer somewhere on it too, that won't shake the entire Northern hemisphere, and a few places to hold guns.

I'd want it in roadster orange though with some black rims(not the giant ghetto rims though), blue isn't as cool on it.

Then for my real dream car, I'd take a Lamborghini Reventon or Aventador..

    Reventon:

    Aventador:

The fact that an opinion has been widely held is no evidence whatever that it is not utterly absurd.

    its a hard choice, this.

    Currently I'm wanting a
02-05 WRX STi in Rally blue, front mount intercooler and stage 2 kit putting it to around 300+ at the wheels would be great fun daily driver.

but  since its ANY car and not one I'm ever going to actually own unless I hit the lotto, I'd have to go with a Shelby GT500 Super Snake in this color

Honestly? I'd probably die trying to decide for a single car =/

    I'd have either a Ferrari 458, Shelby GT500, Audi R8 or SRT-8 Challenger.

I know that's kind of mixed up, But I have my days =P
