Yeah, I'm a reasonable person when it comes to waiting. However they said the water cooled cards would be out at the end of June, then they said beginning of July. Still nothing, I love EVGA but I think I'm gonna jump on the band wagon as well at this point, with another AIB partner that actually has stock of something.

Gigabyte said 2 weeks their AIO WaterForce will be in the US. Seems to be same for the Hybrid, I'm guessing MSI SeaHawk will be about the same as well. I'd much prefer to get an AIO this round, but my 970 died 2 weeks ago, so now trying to get what I can (within reason ie no FE).

Hopefully everything works out. I've heard horror stories about their support. I've got a z87 gryphon in a second rig that keeps me thinking about it but it's been solid for years now.

LOL EVGA just put up a large stock of 1080 FTWs. I was able to add two to my cart but I'm waiting for the classy.

I'd have major buyers remorse. ASUS support sucks!

Not very good move to me... Asus jacked this card's price up by $40 or $50.  Let's hope nothing will go wrong with your card.  Good luck to you if you have to do RMA with them in the future.

If you waited a bit longer

Ordered around 6:00 PM EST, SC and FTW were in stock around that time.

They do sell 3rd party warranties for people who don't want to worry about dealing with a company customer service.

So pay even more money to avoid dealing or using the ASuS warranty that is already included in the default price? Keep rubbing the salt in! LOL

This wait is not that bad at all to me. I'm used to pre-orders taking longer and having less info.

I would never buy ANYTHING ASUS again.  I have their monitor I tried to RAM it for a small issue, long story short they sent me one with a bad back light 4 weeks later, it was a nightmare.  I kept the one I had...  I hope if you need support their GPU support is better than their monitor!

Heatware: Trelor - I primarily use eBay which is attached to my heatware.
