First of all I'd like to say thank you for letting me be a part of this community. I'd like to introduce myself and tell a little about why I'm here.
 
My name is Morten and I'm a student at Aarhus University, Denmark. I'm currently taking my Bachelor's degree in information studies and the subject of my final paper is this community. My focus is how and why people choose to engage themselves in this type of forum. In my research I will be looking at the communication between users as well as participating myself. I'm a avid pc gamer and have been using products from EVGA for years, hence my interest in this community. 
 
I may contact some of you guys via PM asking questions about your use of this community. I may also ask some of you to participate in a more formal and structured interview. Naturally participating in interviews is voluntary and any information I gather from this community will be treated anonymously. This means that usernames and other identifiable information will be removed before it goes into my paper.
 
I hope that you will allow me to participate in this community and help me gain a deeper understanding of it's characteristics. If you have any concerns, questions or comments, you are welcome to drop me PM or write a comment in this thread. If you think it could be interesting to participate in a interview or just want to share some information you are also very welcome to contact me.
