Nice. Yeah that is my Magic Base Goal is 203 if I can get 201 would be just about there at 4.2!! I was experimenting with gflops on my 197 bclk well it's stable at +125 with vcore at 1.2875 I think that is the vcore... when I raised VTT sometimes the glops would go up.. and then when I raise vcore temps shot up but gflops would stay in the general stable amounts. So with that I tried going up on VTT, just an experiment I went as far as +225 with the same vcore and it started to go down at around +200

As far as your VTT, 25 is not much of a change to go by, Did you try lower VTT settings? If so, it sounds like you hit the mark with VTT as well. So you see how this can help you 'dial-in' your voltages? The results of CPU PLL and QPI PLL will also interest me. Now, I must go do some testing on my rig, I don't currently have my laptop set up for use while I am doing it, I need to do some office cleaning before I do that. Later dude...

Update: Don't go over 1.95V on CPU PLL - that's the Intel max spec. (but personally I am running 2.0V)

Why are you running such high CPU PLL vcore? Do you get better performance? or?

Okay guys.. for the past day or two.. I've been tinkering and stuff... VTT is at +250 vcore is 1.325 w/o vdroop And temps are out of control.. OHMAHGAWDS!!!!! Just doing my preliminary tests temps are crazy. 83~XX I stopped it before it reached 90c. If you guys want a bios template ask away. I think I may have a bummage chip!! :P:(

You shouldn't be getting temps like that W/that Vcore, I was just up to 1.4375Vcore (actual was near 1.40V) and stayed below 90 (207 Bclock, unstable). I think I already posted about your TIM application, huh? If it's not your TIM, I must suspect your WC loop. However, you might get more help on that here: Overclocking, Cooling and Benchmarking

Why do you think its vtt? and yea on water them temps are too high..its about 30c in my room right now and while folding temps max out at 75c... you should get a new waterblock if you can afford it..

Well I am at 198 base clock, the TIM I bought is some ceramique which sucks cause there is a curring time. But now, the only different thing I am doing is raising QPI PLL sorta matching it to VTT and Vcore gflops are around 52~53.

D.tek Vusion v2 with quad nozzle. After Tim cures and temps are still whack ima take the nozzle and retest. I've applied Tim twice just to get a good application temps are high but I expect a 3~7 degree decrease in the upcoming days. Wish me luck!

If you have your GPU's (2, 260's?) in the same loop, your temps will naturally be higher than running 2 separate loops. What are your temps now, with the new CPU block? Under load is all that matters.

Is your gfx in loop before the CPU? Perhaps you should try reroute to after. Of course the best case is two loops.

Wait till you get your new waterblock, and see what happens then.Sure wish I lived on a tropical island when winter hits here. In fact, we always "escape" to a bunch of them for a few weeks each year. I know that if my room was in the 80's my CPU temps would sure be alot higher than they are now though.Air temp through the radiator is what makes it all happen.
