You're not sacrificing enough baby puppies to the god of luck. If you could rig statistics and actually win by "trying hard" you need to be in Vegas, not worrying about a random CPU prize.

I guess it depends on how you look at things... I used to exclaim "I won!" when ebay auctions were over. I was then corrected by my wife, "You didn't win anything, you just paid more than the idiot below you."  In high school, I "won" class clown one year and most talented another year but that isn't saying much since I was at a continuation school where half the guys were on meth or potheads and half the girls had babies crawling around under the tables. So no, I never really won anything and it's not for lack of effort.

My mom has been trying to win the lottery for years.. (surely more than 25 yrs). 2 years ago she won.. I know that she has been trying hardly but still.. winning in lottery is pure luck! She won the 2th greates sum of money in that draw.. A pretty decent amount of money.. Sure we had a great vacation!

i have never won any kind of online contest, hell the only thing i won in real life is a key chain -.- i wish i won a couple prizes tho, more computer parts are always welcome!

I won a free $300 monitor a few years back from a WCG sweepstakes. I also "may" have won the Stride gum sweepstakes on Xfire for those who remember it years ago as well, I say may because the Stride guy that contacted me was for Battlfield 2142 and I didn't have that game. Only a week before I considered getting it in the store, that $30 would have went to a $1,000 prize if I had just done it. About a week ago I got a bunch of spam email from the Google CR-48 (Chrome OS notebook) test pilot group due to their user feedback forums not being set-up properly. They told me what happened and that if I hadn't received my notebook yet that I'd be contacted sometime soon, so I might be getting that as well.

i wont a coolermaster mouse pad if a LANfest raffle once
and just because the sponsor, inwin, of said lan had sent over too many cases, everyone who was left after the tournament award presentation got a free full or midtower case
i came up on their ironclad case and still have it... unopened becuase im content with my cm 690 ii
